Scotland have had a couple of opportunities inside the Welsh 22, but once Wales reset they are so difficult to break down.

Now it's Wales who flex their attacking muscles and win a penalty inside the Scottish half.

It's a long old way out but Anscombe drills it straight between the posts. Clinical stuff.

What a sign of the intensity in this first 20 minutes - two HIAs, one blood and an injury to Tommy Seymour.

    Scotland 6-7 Wales

Yet another injury in this game, this time for Wales, as Adam Beard is replaced by Jake Ball. We think that, too, is for a head injury assessment.

    Finn Russell

Russell bangs over the penalty and Scotland are back within a point.

  7. Seymour limps offpublished at 22 mins

    Scotland 3-7 Wales

A great shame for Tommy Seymour on his 50th cap. He's being forced off in some pain with what looks to be a hand injury. On comes Byron McGuigan to take his place.

Jamie Ritchie has passed his head injury assessment and comes back on for Brown on the open-side flank.

  8. Scintillating Graham almost breaks throughpublished at 21 mins

    Scotland 3-7 Wales

Darcy Graham makes a scintilalting burst through the Welsh fringe defence, scampering within metres of the line.

Ali Price and Jonny Gray take it on a bit further. Then the forwards try and rumble their way over.

They cough up the ball but they win a penalty five metres out for an off-the-ball tackle. Russell will go for three more points.

    That was stunning from Graham.

Clinical attack from Wales, getting their hands on the ball in Scotland territory. Once Wales get though to the wide channels they are so, so dangerous.

From a Scottish perspective, we cannot afford to concede tries like that. That was the first time Wales had been in the Scottish half.

  13. Another Scottish injurypublished at 16 mins

    Scotland 3-7 Wales

More injury woes for Scotland. Having already lost Jamie Ritchie to a head injury assessment, his replacement Hamish Watson is off with a blood injury.

Fraser Brown, primarily a hooker, is now on at open-side flanker, the position where he started his rugby career.

What a fantastic way to come back, and it came from pulling Scotland over to the wing. Adams still had work to do but it was a clever sidestep around the defender.

Sensational play by Wales. They go through the phases and get on the front foot. Josh Adams has been absolutely outstanding in this tournament. He backs himself one-on-one and it's a superb winger's finish.

  16. try

Try Scotland 3-7 Walespublished at 14 mins

    Josh Adams

Oh, what a try from Josh Adams! Brilliant finish!

Wales manipulated the Scottish defence really well, punching a hole or two in midfield, sucking defenders in, then firing it out wide.

There's an overlap up the left and Adams is sent blasting clear into the 22. He's got Blair Kinghorn to beat, and skips around the Scotland full-back with ease. Lovely footwork but a very disappointing attempted tackle.

Gareth Anscombe adds the extras and Wales hit straight back.

Scotland lacked a bit of energy against France, and they have certainly made up for that in the opening 10 minutes. But I don't think it will rattle Wales too much.

  19. Can Russell break the deadlock?published at 11 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Wales

And another Scottish penalty. Josh Navidi strays offside from the line-out, right in front of the Welsh posts, and Finn Russell will go for goal.

  20. Postpublished at 11 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Wales

This time, it's Wales who infringe. They go to the skies again, Darcy Graham fields the kick, and Ross Moriarty fails to roll away after bringing down the little winger.

Scotland with another good attacking platform in the form of a line-out 10 yards or so outside the Welsh 22.
