We didn’t think we would be talking about England’s sixth try before the game! We’ve seen some nice tries out wide, cross field kicks – but that was a proper forward’s try. I can’t quite believe I am seeing this.

The sun has come out and with it the pace of play has intensified. What a start to this second half! I know it’s a cliche, but this really is end-to-end rugby.

That was really good pace from Bourdon, who is now at fly-half. Good pace, good acceleration and another good try. We didn’t think there would be many tries in this game!

    Pauline Bourdon

It's raining tries at the start of the second half and France hit back through Pauline Bourdon.

The scrum-half has made one and scored another now as she throws a brilliant dummy before strolling through the English defence to dot down under the posts.

She adds the two points with ease.

    Game on.

Just as we look at France coming back into the game, Poppy Cleall gets another try but again it came from France’s error, gifting it back to England in midfield. Nice low body height, and very difficult to defend at close range.

Poppy Cleall has switched to the back row for today’s game - her preferred position.

She’s also played lock and prop for England, but after today’s performance she should get to stick with her first choice!

Well this wasn't in the script.

The impressive Romane Menager is relentless in her ball-carrying and she makes valuable yards for the visitors once again.

France throw the ball wide before Pauline Bourdon throws an inside pass to Safi N'Diaye to go over.
