Former British and Irish Lions wing JJ Williams was not impressed with Dan Biggar's selection, saying Wales will not win the World Cup with him at fly-half.

Lions tourist Biggar has 71 Wales caps, but Williams thinks it is a missed opportunity starting with the once-capped Jarrod Evans on the bench.

"I would have gone for Jarrod Evans in this game, it's an ideal opportunity to try him," Williams said.

"We go back to Biggar you haven't got so much of a threat, he's a rock solid outside-half, he'll kick the ball a lot and he'll work hard, but we've said in the past we're not going to win the World Cup with Dan Biggar in the team.

"He's not a rookie, he's a very good professional player. You've got three matches left and then you've got Georgia.

"I've heard Warren Gatland this week say he's the sharpest out of all their backs in training, so why not give him a go, then bring Biggar on for the last 20 minutes?"

Wales coach Warren Gatland has made only three changes from the team beaten at Twickenham last weekend - the most significant is the return of Dan Biggar at fly-half after first-choice 10 Gareth Anscombe was ruled out of the Rugby World Cup with knee ligament damage. Elsewhere flanker James Davies comes in to join brother and Scarlets team-mate Jonathan Davies in the side

Replacements: Dee, W Jones, Lewis, Shingler, Navidi, A Davies, Evans, Watkin.

England flanker Lewis Ludlam has retained his place in the back row after making his debut in last weekend's win, but wing Ruaridh McConnochie was ruled out this morning after a late fitness test. He is replaced by club-mate Anthony Watson.

England: Daly; Watson, Joseph, Francis, Cokanasiga; Ford, Heinz; Genge, Cowan-Dickie, Cole, Launchbury, Itoje, Lawes, Ludlam, B Vunipola.

The England squad already know who will be stepping on to the plane to Japan in a few weeks' time, but for the Welsh players this is a chance to rubber-stamp that World Cup spot.

However, that pressure brings the lingering doubt that, have a stinker this afternoon, you might end up watching the action on the box back home.
