Jordan Larmour showed his footwork there and it's a shame we didn't get to see more of that in the game. It's nice for Ireland to finish it off and get seven points.

Ireland have scored. More importantly, the game is over!

A nice loop pass from Jack Carty and some nimble footwork from Jordan Larmour.

But that is a small footnote to the main headline...

We asked earlier whether the backline reshuffle would faze Wales with George North going off and Dan Biggar coming on.

Not in the slightest with Gareth Anscombe also enjoying a 20-point tally.

    Tony Ward
Former Ireland fly-half on BBC Radio Ulster

I really was expecting the Irish team to perform today. Regardless of the result, I thought we would get a performance but that just hasn't been the case.

Wales are still bullying Ireland at the breakdown and they would could 'nil' us they would take great pleasure from that as well.

    Denis Hickie
Former Ireland winger on BBC Radio 5 live

The manner of the loss and the manner of the performance of some of the senior players will leave Ireland scratching their heads. Take nothing away from Wales but speaking purely from an Irish perspective they are going to have to rethink a number of parts of their game.

That will include a number of selection decisions because there have been too many abject performances.
