I met a scarf seller at 08:00 outside the ground this morning - he might have sold out of them by half time

    Over it goes.

Ireland have been ground down to dust.

Everything just seems to be going right for Wales. They're making their own luck a little bit, but Ireland have got to be better.

    Wales 22-0 Ireland

Wales have another penalty. I don't know what Ireland's crime was, Angus Gardner could probably have taken his pick given their indiscipline today.

    Gareth Anscombe wants his tee...

  7. 'An absolute hammering'published at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March 2019

    Wales 22-0 Ireland

    Jamie Roberts

This is an absolute hammering. No one expected this. I think the lads will be celebrating already on the pitch.

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at the Principality Stadium

Grand Slam matches are not meant to be this comfortable. With Wales 22-0 up with 15 minutes left, there was a little gentle hum of contentment around the Principality Stadium, like the sound of Lord's on the first morning of a Test match.

More Ireland changes as Niall Scannell, Andrew Porter and Jordan Larmour enter the fray.

Joe, Somerset: Is this the same Ireland team that is supposedly the 2nd best team in the world....

Mark: As an Irishman I actually feel like I have to apologise to my English mates. Ireland have rolled over. This is as spineless and inept performance from the men in green. I'm disgusted.

DB: Today’s performance has summed up Ireland’s 6 Nations, they’ve become predictable. Might be an idea to move Schmidt on early and hand the reins to Andy Farrell in advance of the World Cup.

Ireland's scrum finally delivers something for the men in green, sending Wales into a tailspin to secure the penalty.

Lines cleared, but it is too little, too late.

Hadleigh Parkes' fly-hack starts the gun on a foot race, Keith Earls wins it but carries the ball back over his own line as he slides in to gather.

Scrum five for Wales and this could could be the cherry on top of the Grand Slam gateau.

I can't think of a more ant-climatic Grand Slam win in Six Nations history. It is so flat. The fans can't believe it is all done and dusted by the 60th minute.

John Allcoat: Johnny Sexton has had a nightmare all game. Too many basic errors. Anybody else would have been subbed off by now.

Liz: Hard to believe a few months back everyone thought Ireland had the Grand Slam in hand.

Andy du frain: Feel Ireland have really let down Joe Schmidt in this match. Discipline and execution is unrecognisable from last year.
