Wales fly-half Dan Biggar pings a penalty down into the Ireland 22m after the visitors are blown up for wheeling the scrum.

Another attacking platform for the hosts...

Wales number eight Ross Moriarty is on the edge at the moment and Ireland players are trying to wind him up with a quiet word here and there.

Both Hadleigh Parkes and Liam Williams have recognised this in the last few minutes and led Moriarty away from green shirts.

One to keep an eye on.

  4. 'Really clumsy'published at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March 2019

    Wales 10-0 Ireland

    Tony Ward
Former Ireland fly-half on BBC Radio Ulster

The rain is sheeting down really heavily at the moment so you do have to take that into account but that was still a really clumsy mistake by CJ Stander.

  5. 'An absolute shocker'published at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March 2019

    Wales 10-0 Ireland

    Denis Hickie
Former Ireland winger on BBC Radio 5 live

That is the pressure. It is an absolute shocker from CJ Stander. I just feel so far all of these 50-50 things are going with Wales.

    CJ Stander! What was that?!

Ireland are awarded a free-kick at scrum time. Rory Best is about to ask for a reset of the scrum.

But his number eight has instead attempt a quick tap and go. But instead of tapping into his own hands, he shins the ball into his team-mate in front of him.

Accidental offside, scrum red and a moment to forget for Stander.

Eamonn McGurk: Next score is big! Ireland really need it!

Mark: Ireland are playing hopeless. Pens and mistakes all over the park. They have gone backwards as a team. It's game over already.

Ireland are not going anywhere fast though.

Massive pressure at the scrum and on wing Josh Adams' (!) clearing kick.

It has not found touch. Keith Earls runs it back up to the 22m. Ireland roll round to within 15m.

And they will have a scrum right in the shadow of the posts.

  9. 'Wales stayed in the fight'published at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March 2019

    Wales 10-0 Ireland

    Jamie Heaslip
Former Ireland international on BBC One

Wales just stayed in the fight there and they knew if they did that they'd get the turnover. Now there's going to be huge pressure on their scrum and the forwards are going to want to make their mark there.

Great by Wales there building those momentum moments. It seems like so much has happened in this game and we're only coming up to 25 minutes gone.

  10. Postpublished at 25 mins

    Wales 10-0 Ireland

Wales are all over Ireland's attempted driven maul like a rash.

Adam Beard's tentacles snaking round to grab Conor Murray, Justin Tipuric making himself such a nuisance that he is lucky to escape an ASBO.

And Wales keep it off the floor to secure the scrum red!

Cheers long and loud around the stands...

Ireland with a penalty, 30m out.

Johnny Sexton could easily kick it. He doesn't.

    A punt into the corner...

Ireland twisting for the try rather than sticking for three.

    Wales 10-0 Ireland

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at the Principality Stadium

Gareth Davies is a potent attacking weapon when he's on form but the Wales scrum-half is prone to lapses in concentration or discipline, as that brainless penalty concession just showed.

That is the sort of things that drives coaches insane. A really stupid infringement. It lets Ireland get out of jail.

The first bit of cuss and cuddle between the two teams.

Wales with the free play after CJ Stander strays offside. Dan Biggar chips ahead and Bundee Aki covers back on the slide to gather it.

Wales scrum-half Gareth Davies needlessly dives in on the Ireland centre before he can regain his feet.

Sean O'Brien and Tadhg Beirne grab his lapels to make their point, Wales pile in to defend their nine.

Angus Gardner decides on a ticking off for Davies and a reversal of the initial penalty.

    Ireland clear upfield.

  16. 'Wales are getting the rub of the green'published at 15:09 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March 2019

    Wales 10-0 Ireland

    Jamie Roberts
Wales international centre on BBC Radio 5 Live

Wales are getting the rub of the green at these breakdown decisions. You have to capitalise on those and score points. That's what Wales are doing.

  17. Wales reorganisationpublished at 19 mins

    Wales 10-0 Ireland

    Gareth Griffiths
BBC Sport Wales at Principality Stadium

You wonder whether Wales will be phased by the reshuffle in the backline with wing George North going off with what looked like a wrist injury.

Full-back Liam Williams has gone to wing, fly-half Gareth Anscombe to full-back and Dan Biggar has come on at 10.

Biggar and Anscombe has been the debate about who starts at 10 but now they are both on the field early on.

    Wales 10-0 Ireland

    Jamie Heaslip
Former Ireland international on BBC One

When we come back to the mind-games that happened before the game, Wales are on top in the game now. Every time they've gone into Ireland's 22 they've come away with points and that's huge - particularly because they haven't started great in games.

Again that is a soft penalty from Ireland. Liam Williams has been Wales' player of the season and it looks like he is going to be a thorn in the side of Stockdale.
