  1. Penalty - France 0-3 Argentinapublished at 14 mins

    Nicolas Sanchez

The Argentina fly-half has the chance to make amends for his earlier miss just seconds ago, and this time he makes no mistake.

The Pumas make valuable yards after a break from Guido Petti Pagadizaval before winning a penalty in front of the posts for an offside Frenchman in the defensive line.

    Nicolas Sanchez does the rest.

  2. Missed penaltypublished at 12 mins

    France 0-0 Argentina

The normally reliable Nicolas Sanchez has the opportunity to score the first points of the match but he just nudges his penalty wide.

    France 0-0 Argentina

When a winger runs at a hooker, there is normally only one outcome.

Damian Penaud decides to take Agustin Creevy on and the Argentinean front-row responds with a crunching tackle.

Argentina have the scrum and they win another penalty against a French pack that are normally so assured in the set-piece.

    France 0-0 Argentina

    Wallop!

That's what the fans have come to see.

Gael Fickou is quick off the line to crunch his opposite man before Argentina concede possession with a knock on.

France move the ball right, and then left, but they too knock on.

I'm not sure how much training with wet balls has helped in the early stages of this one.

  5. Postpublished at 6 mins

    France 0-0 Argentina

Now it's France's turn to concede the line-out and Argentina will have the throw just inside the French half.

  6. Postpublished at 5 mins

    France 0-0 Argentina

The blue and white hooped shirts go through the phases but Nicolas Sanchez kicks straight into touch.

Let's just put that one down to some early nerves.

  7. Postpublished at 3 mins

    France 0-0 Argentina

The Pumas lay down an early marker as they win a penalty in the first scrum.

The ball is prodded to touch and Argentina will have the line-out.

Can they launch an early attack?

  8. Postpublished at 3 mins

    France 0-0 Argentina

Argentina win their own line-out but the blue shirts are quick off their line and Charles Ollivon intercepts the ball.

France break clear but a knock on gives Argentina the scrum.

  9. Postpublished at 1 min

    France 0-0 Argentina

France retrieve the ball from the kick-off as the French fans breakout into a chorus of "Allez Les Blues".

The ball is recycled to fly-half Romain Ntamack, who finds touch deep inside the Argentina half.

Right then, both sets of players have followed the officials out onto the pitch.

The Argentina players were literally bouncing off the walls as they made their way to the field.

Something tells me the Pumas are up for this one, and if they weren't pumped already, it's time for the anthems.

So France have opted for 20-year-old Romain Ntamack to steer the ship from fly-half against the Pumas.

And France coach Jacques Brunel says he has "no doubt" about 20-year-old Ntamack's quality.

"He's shown that this role doesn't scare him," he said.
