From nowhere that was a bit of class from Marika Koroibete, he put on a bit of footwork for the first defender, then he went beyond the first line of defence.

    He strikes like lightening.

    Marika Koroibete, con Matt Toomua

Australia have their second score and it is an individual effort from Marika Koroibete.

He picks the ball up just outside the 22 and slaloms his way through the Georgia defence.

There are a couple of steps that throw off Soso Matiashvili and Alexander Todua on his way to the line.

Matt Toomua adds the extras and the Wallabies have plenty of breathing space now.

Finally some momentum from the Australia attack.

They spread it to the left and first Marika Koroibete and then Dane Haylett-Petty make some progress with some strung running.

But the Wallabies infringe again, with one man failing to release the ball at the breakdown.

We've spoken throughout the tournament about the challenge of the humidity and the sweaty handling conditions but this one is being played in bucketing rain.

It didn't look like a straight throw from Jaba Bregvadze, but the officials don't call it up.

But then Georgia don't get the driving maul right, and Silatolu Latu creeps around to disrupt his fellow hooker.

Australia get the scrum, then are given a penalty from it which allows them to clear the ball away to the halfway line.

The Wallabies give away a penalty as Izack Rodda does not roll away in the tacke.

Lasha Khmaladze kicks towards the Australia line.

The Lelos have a line-out inside the 22 and need to make the most of their attacking opportunity.

Replacement hooker Jaba Bregvadze will have his first throw into the line-out.

Another Australia attack fails to make any impact, and Vasil Lobzhanidze gets in a good clearing kick.

Georgia have brought on a new-look front row for the final half an hour.

Georgia scrum-half Gela Aprasidze is taken off on a stretcher via the mobile medical vehicle, with applause from the crowd.

His treatment had led to a bit of a lull, with a Mexican Wave going around the stadium in Shizuoka in the meantime.

The game will restart with an Australia penalty on halfway after about six minutes of treatment. They will kick to touch.

If you had to pick up a food bill for a couple of players in this tournament you probably wouldn't choose Sekope Kepu and Taniela Tupou - between them there's probably 260 kilos I would say.

It's a head injury for Gela Aprasidze and he won't be able to continue.

Vasil Lobzhanidze is on in his place, with Aprasidze still down and getting attention from the medical staff.

There is also a change of scrum-half for the Wallabies. Nic White and his moustache have gone off, to be replaced by Will Genia.

A bit of a let-off for the Wallabies as the ball rebounds from the scrum off a Georgia boot into the arms of Isi Naisarani.

Australia bring the ball out of defence before a knock-on from Dan Haylett-Petty.

But Lelos scrum-half Gela Aprasidze has got a knock in contact and needs some treatment.

From the scrum, Georgia scrum-half Gela Aprasidze puts in a decent kick which gives the Australians a line-out just outside their own 22.

Then there is a handling error from Nic White as the ball is fed back to him.

That is slightly sloppy and it gives Georgia a scrum and a chance to attack.

    Australia 10-3 Georgia

Australia have started to play a bit more expansively in the second half.

We didn't see much flair in the first 40 minutes but Matt Toomua sends a reverse ball back to Jordan Petaia, but the winger - who is winning his second cap - knocks on.

    Australia 10-3 Georgia

Davit Kacharava pounces on a loose ball at the breakdown and skips past a couple of tackles.

He gets into the Australia 22. It is almost nose-bleed territory for the Lelos in the context of this game.

But then a knock-on punishes the Georgians and Australia get the ball back again.

Then there is an offside, which gives the Australians a penalty.

Wallabies number eight Isi Naisarani has made his way back into the action.

This weather is going to be like nothing any of us in Europe have ever experienced before and and sit and see what we wake up to on Sunday.

World Rugby and everybody out here will want the game to go ahead.

If Japan and Scotland were offered to play the game on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday to decide who wins it they would play that.

    More on that here.

But this time the throw into the line out from Silatolu Latu is not straight.

Georgia get the scrum, but Isi Naisarani's remaining time in the bin is being eaten away at.

A big carry and hit from Beka Gorgadze looks like it'll give Georgia the ball inside the Australia half.

But Australia turn over the ball.

It is the ultimate jackal himself David Pocock who wins the ball.

The Wallabies kick deep into Georgia territory.

Georgia get the second half started in Japan.

Can they mount a comeback which would shock the Wallabies and secure their qualification for the next World Cup?

The Lelos have defended well, but we haven't seen much of their attacking potential so far.

Conditions here are really tough for both sides – the wind and rain is swirling round the stadium, changing direction the whole time.

We’re 120 miles west of Tokyo here in Shizuoka, roughly the point where the typhoon is predicted to make landfall tomorrow afternoon.

Everyone’s been tracking the predicted path of Hagibis on various apps – you can see that we’re already feeling the effects of the edge of it.
