Cameron: all these people getting behind a cancellation decision for #SCOvJPN, external would have a different tune if it was their team playing. If Scotland go out because they didnt play well enough then fine - removing the option isn't sporting and to say otherwise is just

Alastair Temple: I am sure most of those blaming Scotland's failure to beat Ireland for our current position (re potential cancellation) would be among the first to say Ireland are a better side. So really what they are saying is Sco should be punished for Ire failure to turn up v Jpn!

The Rugby World Cup is not the only sporting event taking place in Japan this weekend that's being impacted by Typhoon Hagibis.

Formula 1 has cancelled all activities at the Japanese Grand Prix on Saturday as the biggest tropical storm of the year approaches.

That means qualifying will be held on Sunday before the race instead... in theory, at least.

Nic White's converted try is effectively the difference between the sides.

Georgia have defended doggedly but haven't made the most of their few attacking opportunities.

They'll have five minutes up against 14 men at the start of the second half after Australia number eight Isi Naisarani was sent to the sin-bin.

    Australia 7-3 Georgia

Georgia can't make the most of their numerical advantage straight away.

They lose their line-out on halfway and then Australia come forward.

Scum half Nic White makes the most of some contact from a back-tracking Beka Saginadze at the breakdown and the Australians get a kickable penalty.

No way through for the Australia forwards.

First the maul is shut out. Then no joy from the pick and drives.

The backs get a go and the Wallabies are pushed back.

Then there is an illegal clean-out from number eight Isi Naisarani.

Georgia get a penalty and this one might go to the television match official....

This time there is another penalty.

Mamuka Gorgodze is the culprit as he comes in from the side.

Referee Pascal Gauzere has a word with captain Merab Sharikadze. The penalties are piling up.

The Aussies go for another line-out...

    Australia 7-3 Georgia

Australian forwards are still looking to plug away and get over the Georgia line.

The Lelos stand firm again, but then hooker Shalva Mamukashvili is a bit over-eager and tackles a man without the ball.

That's a penalty to the Wallabies five metres out, and they go for touch once more.

Can they come away from this line-out with a second try?

    Australia kick to the corner.

    Australia 7-0 Georgia

Australia come away with the ball but as they look to run it out of defence there is a knock-on from Silatolu Latu.

Then the Australia number two is guilty of a high tackle as Merab Sharikadze tries to catch the loose ball.

That gives the Georgians a penalty just to the left of the sticks.

Wave after wave, that attack kept on coming and Nic White just sold the dummy and dived over - maybe helped by the slippery surface.

Georgia claim the line-out throw and look to drive towards the line.

But the Lelos can't get going, and Australia are awarded a scrum.
