Just the best player in the world doing what the best player in the world does...

The slightest gap opens up for Beauden Barrett as he joins the line and wheels inside Aaron Smith to collect a switch offload.

The New Zealand full-back skips beyond the Welsh defence and darts over between the sticks with a beaming smile.

    Easy extras for Richie Mo'unga.

    Wales 0-7 New Zealand

Both sides look pleased for a breather as New Zealand get the scrum.

Wales force the All Blacks sideways but Aaron Smith shoots out the back and down the blindside, before attempting to jab a deft kick into the path of Rieko Ioane.

Good cover from the Welsh to put that attack out.

Nate H: Wales have done well but they don’t have the depth of squad to make it to a final - let alone win it. This will be a handsome victory for NZ playing an injury ravaged Wales side.

  4. Postpublished at 9 mins

    Wales 0-7 New Zealand

Tomos Williams picks and goes from the scrum, accelerating into the New Zealand half.

Wales slide it left and Beauden Barrett is forced to chase a grubber into the corner from Josh Adams. The All Blacks 15 does well to collect and Aaron Smith punts clear.

You wouldn't like the All Blacks when they're angry...

That try - with New Zealand's forwards demonstrating the handling work to make an international backline blush - was exactly what Wales feared from their opponents after their semi-final setback.

Absolutely tremendous score and tremendous handling skills by the New Zealand forwards. Great start to the game.

What a try! Slick as you like from the New Zealand forwards...

Kieran Read breaks through and combines with Brodie Retallick as New Zealand rip a hole in Wales' defence.

Who's on the shoulder in support? Just prop Joe Moody to gather at pace and charge towards the line.

Moody just about has the legs to tumble over. And Richie Mo'unga adds the extras.

  9. Missed penaltypublished at 4 mins

    Wales 0-0 New Zealand

Richie Mo'unga will look to put early points on the board. Just right of the sticks and slightly shy of the 22m line.

    Off the post! Blimey...

    Wales 0-0 New Zealand

Both teams have come to play...

Now the All Blacks fling it through palms like a hot potato as Wales scramble to cover.

Joe Moody thunders into crowded spot, and then Shannon Frizell has a crack. Wales won't roll away, and the All Blacks get a penalty within range.

    Wales 0-0 New Zealand

Hallam Amos gobbles up an Aaron Smith box kick and runs it back into the All Black wall. Wales keep it alive with some lovely hands as Josh Adams wriggles inside off his wing, before being felled inside the New Zealand 22.

    Great start for Wales.

  18. 'Chance to create history'published at 08:57 Greenwich Mean Time 1 November 2019

Wales v New Zealand (09:00 GMT)

Wales head coach Warren Gatland: "We are disappointed not to be in the final but have the chance to create a little bit of history against the All Blacks. It has been a long time, 66 years, not to beat a side. We have had success against every other nation. The All Blacks have been that elusive team we have not been able to conquer.

"There is something at stake - a lot of pride - and a victory for us would be special.

"There is no doubt Steve will leave a legacy behind in terms of what he's achieved as an All Black coach. It's outstanding and he'll be a big loss."
