Wales look to play five metres from their own line. That is before a lump down field by Gareth Davies.

It hands New Zealand possession and the All Blacks juggle it left, but Sam Cane's awkward pass goes loose.

    Someone has lost a boot...

Amid the madness, Owen Lane is penalised for not releasing.

Whose foot does the shoe fit? Which one of these Cinderellas will go to the ball? (or the bronze-medal party...)

Down goes the All Blacks pack in the scrum. Wayne Barnes having a word. Chance for a quick sup of air after a frantic opening 20 minutes in this second half.

He's carried well tonight, Josh. He's looked for work. He's come inside looking for the ball and been dangerous with ball in hand. Josh has crept over there from a yard and a half but it should have come quicker. We had the numbers on the right-hand side numerous times then.

    Wales 17-35 New Zealand

Josh Adams' seventh try of the World Cup makes him Wales' outright top scorer in a single tournament, taking him one ahead of Shane Williams' tally in 2007.

Adams is now one short of the World Cup's overall record of eight, held by Bryan Habana, Julian Savea and Jonah Lomu.

    And Josh Adams squeezes over!

A little pick and drive like a forward from the Wales wing, collecting the ball from the back of the ruck and burrowing through a hole to dot it down over the line.

Dan Biggar tags on the extras.

Superb offload from Dan Biggar to Jonathan Davies just shy of the line.

The centre is held up, Wales come again...

Good Welsh pressure. Working the phases, drawing in black jerseys.

It's slow and precise, until a fumble but that bounced backwards. Still they go. Rhys Carre, Josh Adams... penalty coming Wales' way.

Alun Wyn Jones has been a great servant to Wales but I am sure he will look forward to that Lions tour.

    Wales 10-35 New Zealand

New Zealand recover it at the ruck, but that's back for a Welsh penalty.

And what a moment for Alun Wyn Jones.

The Wales captain is replaced to a standing ovation, probably his last World Cup outing on his 143rd international appearance. The whole crowd on their feet.

    Wales are going backwards.

At least until Hallam Amos somehow steps through the All Blacks onslaught and Justin Tipuric appears on his shoulder.

Aaron Shingler powers forward, arm outstretched to hand off a would-be tackler. The Tokyo crowd are bubbling...

Steve James: Someone throw another ball on for the Welsh team to play with

Kyle: Correct call to disallow the try it was a knock on. However they got in again. 5 tries and 1 disallowed every time they attack they look like they will score. They have been superb and ruthless but Wales have been soft defensively.

Quick tap-and-go from Aaron Smith, finding Ben in support and then taking the return like they're hacking around in the back yard. New Zealand fizz it left but Beauden Barrett fumbles.

Not quite clicking for Wales at the minute.

The tip-toeing Josh Adams tries to make something happen with a zig-zagging run, but his offload goes straight out of play.

Just look at the yardage stats. New Zealand have had less territory and less possession but they have made 386 metres compared to Wales' 197. The New Zealand forwards are relentless at carrying the ball and making yardage.

The All Blacks just clicked through the gears and Sonny Bill Williams threw an over-arm pass like a quarterback.

It reached Ben Smith, who powered through two Welsh defenders to cross - but the pass was forward.
