  1. Penalty to Englandpublished at 21 mins

    England 0-3 South Africa

South Africa's little men as hitting England's big carriers.

Faf de Klerk chops down Billy Vunipola, but Cheslin Kolbe is guilty of not rolling away as he does the same to Courtney Lawes.

Penalty to England. And this is very kickable. Owen Farrell calls for the tee...

  2. Penalty for Englandpublished at 19 mins

    England 0-3 South Africa

A penalty for England as Pieter-Steph du Toit instinctively grabs a ball knocked forward from Willie Le Roux's hand.

England play for territory and are down just outside the Bok 22m.

  3. Postpublished at 18 mins

    England 0-3 South Africa

That is superb from Jonny May.

The England wing leaps like Michael Jordan to pat Pollard's kick back to Elliot Daly before it or he land in touch.

Daly kicks back towards halfway to ease the pressure and the backs have bailed out the forwards there...

Former Ireland number eight on BBC Radio 5 Live

England have to be careful. It's in their heads now at scrum-time. That's three penalties I've counted at the scrum. They've got to do the basics right to get back into the game.

  5. South Africa scrum on toppublished at 17 mins

    England 0-3 South Africa

    Bad news Paul Grayson.

From the resulting scrum, Mako Vunipola's nose buries into the turf and South Africa are awarded the penalty by Jerome Garces.

Handre Pollard will punt down towards coffin corner...

  6. 'England putting pressure on themselves'published at 09:25 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November 2019

    England 0-3 South Africa

    Paul Grayson
Former England fly-half on BBC Radio 5 Live

Without a doubt, England have made some mental mistakes early on. They're putting the pressure on themselves. Their line-out was magical last week against the All Blacks but now Etzebeth is straight up at two and steals it.

What England can't do is get into a cycle where every single set piece comes with a mistake.

  7. England pack finding their feetpublished at 15 mins

    England 0-3 South Africa

England still stuttering rather than purring at the set-piece.

Jamie George's line-out throw is juggled forward by Maro Itoje. That was working as smooth as a Swiss timepiece against the All Blacks.

Not today. Not yet at least.

    Scrum down to the Boks.

  8. Postpublished at 13 mins

    England 0-3 South Africa

George Ford gets the big club out of the bag, walloping a kick straight downfield to buy some territory.

The chase is good and Willie le Roux's reply, out into touch near halfway, is a net gain for England.

  9. 'Don't get too complex'published at 09:21 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November 2019

    England 0-3 South Africa

    Matt Dawson
England World Cup winner on BBC Radio 5 Live

Why England need to change things need to change things so dramatically is a minor concern at this stage .I know they want to go through their moves, I know they want the odd tweak in their repertoire, but it's the first line-out. You don't want it too complex.

The England fans have quietened down a bit, especially after that pass from Ben Youngs. Don't think anyone can believe what they're seeing after such a dominant win against New Zealand just a week ago.

  11. Postpublished at 12 mins

    England 0-3 South Africa

England were as accurate as Michael van Gerwen against the All Blacks.

Now their darts are thumping into bedroom door.

Ben Youngs' frustration writes a cheque that his skills can't cash, his mispass drifting out into touch rather than finding Anthony Watson.

  12. 'Come on England, think'published at 09:19 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November 2019

    England 0-3 South Africa

    Matt Dawson
England World Cup winner on BBC Radio 5 Live

Even though Billy Vunipola got around the outside, England's supporting player, Sam Underhill, was too far away. As soon as Owen Farrell got the ball, Kolisi was all over it like the jackal he is. Come on, England, think.

Samuel: This proves how tough rugby players are. Get knocked out, stand up, walk it off.

Ben: If England were feeling at all comfortable, the surprise of Sinckler's injury may actually up their game

  15. Penalty to South Africapublished at 8 mins

    England 0-0 South Africa

    Not really.

Billy Vunipola opts to pick and go as the England scrum goes into reverse.

A loose pass towards Owen Farrell though and the South Africa clear-out crew of Siya Kolisi and Duane Vermeulen force the penalty.

This is bang in front and South Africa are going to take the points...

  16. South Africa make strong startpublished at 8 mins

    England 0-0 South Africa

    Handre Pollard!

Superb from the Springbok 10 as he hoists a high one, chases like fury and claims high above George Ford.

England scrambling. South Africa have started at a canter.

Eddie Jones' side have a scrum inside their own 22m after a South Africa knock-on.

Can they dig in here at the set-piece?

  17. England running from deeppublished at 5 mins

    England 0-0 South Africa

Superb turnover, five metres from his own line, from Elliot Daly.

And England are running from behind their own posts, spinning wide to Jonny May.

And it pays off. He makes it back to England's 22m.

  18. Postpublished at 5 mins

South Africa get the squeeze on at scrum-time as Cole comes under immediate pressure.

Jerome Garces' arm is aloft for a Springbok penalty.

  19. 'Cole is going to be drained'published at 09:12 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November 2019

    England 0-0 South Africa

    Paul Grayson
Former England fly-half on BBC Radio 5 Live

Sinckler's a runner, key to those pivot plays England use. Dan Cole is a good tight-head but not as nimble. You think in an hour, the pressure he'll be under, he's going to be drained.

  20. Replacementpublished at 4 mins

    England 0-0 South Africa

Kyle Sinckler is off down the tunnel for a head injury assessement, as he is replaced by Dan Cole.

Sinckler will not be coming back on.

Cole has a scrum-time rendez vous with Tendai Mtawarira first up.
