  1. 'Glasgow caught flat-footed'published at 16:46 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2019

    Exeter 31-13 Glasgow

    Peter Wright
Former Scotland prop on BBC Radio Scotland

The box kick has got to find touch. You’re trying to stop the game, stop the momentum. You can’t miss kicks because they’re just going to put width on it. They got caught a little flat-flooted and Exeter won the chase to the ball. A good try and counter attack.

  2. try

Try! Exeter 31-13 Glasgowpublished at 59 mins

    Tom O'Flaherty

And there's the bonus point for the Chiefs.

On the counter-attack the ball is put wide to Henry Slade and his grubber kick through is beautifully judged for Tom O'Flaherty to win the race to the ball to touch down.

Simmonds adds a cracking conversion and it's turning into a comfortable afternoon for the home side.

  3. Road blockspublished at 57 mins

    Exeter 24-13 Glasgow

Every avenue Glasgow take seems to be blocked by Exeter shirts as they look to break out of their own territory.

Adam Hastings takes the ball in his 22 and is swarmed by four purple shirts. He gets the kick away but Slade sticks a kick in behind into the corner and Glasgow remain stranded near their own line.

  4. 'Exeter get their timing perfect'published at 16:38 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2019

    Exeter 24-13 Glasgow

    Peter Wright
Former Scotland prop on BBC Radio Scotland

Exeter get their timing absolutely perfect. It was a simple try in the end and deserved it. Exeter have managed this second half intelligently. Glasgow have been chasing the game a bit too hard.

  5. 'All in the Glasgow 22'published at 16:37 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2019

    Exeter 24-13 Glasgow

    Colin Gregor
Former Scotland Sevens captain on BBC Radio Scotland

When you’re three points up at Exeter, the first play of the second half – just clear your lines. Since then it’s all been in Glasgow’s 22.

  6. try

Try! Exeter 24-13 Glasgowpublished at 53 mins

    Sam Simmonds

Exeter are starting to take a firm grip on this game now.

It's straightforward stuff as the rolling line-out maul powers towards the Glasgow line and Sam Simmonds breaks off from the base to dive over.

Joe Simmonds adds the extras and it's a long way back for Glasgow.

  7. 'Exeter have had nine penalties already'published at 16:33 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2019

    Exeter 17-13 Glasgow

    Peter Wright
Former Scotland prop on BBC Radio Scotland

You don’t want to give away any more than nine penalties and Exeter have already had nine. But most of them have been deep in the Glasgow half, not many have been in kickable positions.

  8. Chiefs suffocating Glasgowpublished at 52 mins

    Exeter 17-13 Glasgow

Glasgow go through 13 phases but are having to battle at every breakdown to get the ball back and eventually George Horne kicks pretty aimlessly downfield.

Exeter are now ramping up the battle of the breakdown and giving Warriors no easy exits.

  9. Going to the skypublished at 47 mins

    Exeter 17-13 Glasgow

The ball has spent more time in the air than in hands in the last few minutes but Glasgow are struggling to get out of their own territory and Henry Slade pins them back in their own 22 with a lovely kick from hand.

Dave Rennie will be concerned with this opening to the second half from Glasgow. This game could get away from them very quickly if they don't cut out the mistakes.

    Brent Pilnick

One minute that shows just what Exeter can do.

Jack Nowell‘s jinking feet and Henry Slade’s pacey follow up showing just how deadly Exeter can be from deep.

It’s a big few minutes for Glasgow now.

  11. 'Glasgow masters of their own downfall'published at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2019

    Exeter 15-13 Glasgow

    Peter Wright
Former Scotland prop on BBC Radio Scotland

They’re masters of their own downfall. They tried an inside pass that was never on. It was four or five metres inside their own 22 and they knocked that on. Couldn’t get a worse start in the second half for Glasgow.

  12. try

Try! Exeter 17-13 Glasgowpublished at 42 mins

    Henry Slade

What a start to the second-half for Exeter.

Glasgow give up possession when Sam Johnson knocks on in his own 22.

Exeter prod and probe for several phases until Jack Nowell takes charge by coming in off his wing and finding a gap in the Warriors defence before slipping in Henry Slade to go in under the posts.

    Simmonds converts.

  13. Kick-offpublished at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2019

    Exeter 10-13 Glasgow

    We are back under way.

  14. 'It's been a game for the forwards'published at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2019

    Half-time: Exeter 10-13 Glasgow

    Tom English
    BBC Scotland's chief sports writer

I think there’s some big performers in this Glasgow pack. At no point have Exeter been asking questions constantly of Glasgow.

It’s not game over but it’s heading in Glasgow’s direction. Stuart Hogg has hardly been in the game. It’s been a game for the forwards and Glasgow’s forwards have been really fronting up here.

  15. 'Glasgow have been tactically very smart'published at 16:14 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2019

    Half-time: Exeter 10-13 Glasgow

    Colin Gregor
Former Scotland Sevens captain on BBC Radio Scotland

"They’ve been tactically very smart. Glasgow haven’t played much in their own half. Those kicks from Hastings are good. It’s a change from what you expect from Glasgow. They’re just kicking it long to Exeter and it gives Glasgow counter attacking opportunities.

"Glasgow are near 60% possession. You imagine Exeter will get more ball at some point in this second half and it will be a question of how they cope with that."

  16. Postpublished at 16:07 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2019

    Brent Pilnick
    BBC Sport at Sandy Park

A half of two halves there.

Glasgow were great for the first 20 minutes or so before Exeter gradually gained the ascendancy.

It’s finely poised at half time - all we need is a bit of magic from someone, maybe a certain Stuart Hogg?

  17. Half-time: Exeter 10-13 Glasgowpublished at 16:05 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2019

A tight affair in the first-half with both sides enjoying promising periods but neither able to get sustained dominance.

Very encouraging for Glasgow to lead at the break. It will be interesting to see if they can keep Exeter from hitting their stride as they have largely done so far.

  18. Penalty - Exeter 10-13 Glasgowpublished at 40 mins

    Adam Hastings

Glasgow seem to have solved their issues in the scrum and force another set-piece penalty.

Adam Hastings bangs over the kick to give Glasgow a three-point lead at the break.

  19. Sloppy at Sandy Parkpublished at 39 mins

    Exeter 10-10 Glasgow

Glasgow have enjoyed an extended period in Exeter territory.

Zander Fagerson looks to truck it up but is chopped in the tackle Harry Williams and Fagerson spills the ball forward.

And that rather encapsulates the last 10 minutes or so. The error count is high on both sides and it's sucked a bit of life out of the match.

  20. Exeter repel Warriorspublished at 36 mins

    Exeter 10-10 Glasgow

A big opportunity for Glasgow with a line-out 5m from the Exeter line.

Warriors look to get the rolling maul going but can't generate any momentum and when the maul goes to ground Pascal Gauzere awards the scrum put-in to the home side.
