  3. Close callpublished at 31 mins

    Exeter 10-7 Glasgow

Glasgow look to get back down the other end and respond to that Exeter try.

Adam Hastings looks to put some width on the ball but Ian Whitten sees the long miss pass coming and looks to pick off the interception but just can't gather. A let-off for Glasgow because if he had he had a free run to the line.

Glasgow wing Ratu Tagive limps off with an injury to be replaced by Kyle Steyn.

  4. 'It was inevitable'published at 15:51 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2019

    Exeter 10-7 Glasgow

    Peter Wright
Former Scotland prop on BBC Radio Scotland

It was inevitable that Exeter were going to score. When they get into that situation, they’re always going to score. It only took them two or three phases which is the disappointing thing for Glasgow.

You can understand after 10-12 phases losing that war of attrition but to lose it that early will disappoint Kenny Murray the Glasgow defensive coach as well as the players.

That try was what Exeter are renowned for - a ferocious ability to grind sides down on their own line before sending one of the big men over.

That score has ignited the home crowd - this could be a real humdinger of a game.

  8. Exeter putting on the squeezepublished at 26 mins

  9. Pendulum swingingpublished at 23 mins

    Exeter 3-7 Glasgow

It's a terrific see-saw battle this with the momentum shifting very quickly from one side to the other.

Glasgow are prevailing in the territorial battle at the momentum and have done well not to get sucked into a forwards-dominated battle.

Four points is not a huge lead though and there is a lot of work still to do.

  10. 'Glasgow need to keep the game disjointed'published at 15:41 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2019

    Exeter 3-7 Glasgow

    Peter Wright
Former Scotland prop on BBC Radio Scotland

"I think if Glasgow can keep it as disjointed as this for 80 minutes they've got a chance but you've got to think it will tighten up."

  11. Battle of the bootpublished at 20 mins

    Exeter 3-7 Glasgow

Adam Hastings is putting boot to ball a lot in this opening quarter.

Some of the kicks have been a little bit off target but he dinks a beauty of a kick over the head of Jack Nowell and into touch deep in Exeter territory.

He knows any loose kicks could be punished by his old mate Hogg.

  12. 'Hogg is going to try something magical'published at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2019

    Exeter 3-7 Glasgow

    Peter Wright
Former Scotland prop on BBC Radio Scotland

You know Stuart Hogg is going to try and do something magical every time he gets the ball and impress. The problem for Glasgow is one time he’ll pull it off. They just need to police him early.

  13. Chiefs threatenpublished at 16 mins

    Exeter 3-7 Glasgow

The home side are starting to find their groove and Glasgow are left scrambling as scrum-half Nic White steps his way through the defence and he's hauled down just 10m from the line.

That opening try and Joe Simmonds’ penalty in reply has really opened up this game.

Glasgow’s defence looks excellent - they haven’t let Exeter have any time to settle when they have been in possession.

  15. Penalty - Exeter 3-7 Glasgowpublished at 13 mins

    Joe Simmonds

Exeter manage to force a scrum penalty and the home side elect to kick for the posts.

Brilliant work from Tommy Seymour for that try. Tom O’Flaherty went to smash him and ended up on his backside. Nick Grigg’s fend of Henry Slade was excellent. Lovely score and a perfect start. It made up for the earlier missed opportunity from a lot of pressure.

  17. 'Amazing how Seymour kept going'published at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2019

    Exeter 0-7 Glasgow

    Peter Wright
Former Scotland prop on BBC Radio Scotland

It was amazing how Tommy Seymour kept going after contact and got his pace up quick and make that great pass. The question will be how much will that fire Exeter up?

  18. try

Try! Exeter 0-7 Glasgowpublished at 9 mins

    Nick Grigg

Terrific try and just reward for a great start for the Warriors.

Stuart Hogg's attempted pass out the back door goes forward and from the resulting scrum Tommy Seymour comes thundering into the line. He manages to ride some attempted big hits before slipping in Nick Grigg who holds off Henry Slade to score.

    Hastings adds the extras.

  19. Hastings hoists onepublished at 7 mins

    Exeter 0-0 Glasgow

Adam Hastings looks for DTH van der Merwe with a cross-field kick-pass but Jack Nowell wins the aerial battle and suddenly Glasgow look to be in trouble.

Nowell evades a couple of tackles but excellent cover defence from Matt Fagerson snuffs out the danger.

Superb defensive stand there by Exeter.

Glasgow three everything at their hosts but could not find a way through - that will have done Exeter the power of good.
