That must be four or five in a row that England have kicked straight into touch. They have to change and the same errors frustrate coaches.

Oh dear, oh dear. George Ford now kicks the ball out on the full. That must be about the sixth time a player has done that so far.

Ben Youngs now replaces Willi Heinz at scrum-half for England. It's a 97th cap for the Leicester man.

As play goes on, Scotland wing Sean Maitland can't gather an attacking kick and the visitors have a scrum.

Ellis Genge is on for Mako Vunipola in England's front-row.

Powerful stuff at the scrum by England and they get the penalty. That allows Jonny May to thump the ball...up to just short of halfway.

That kick gained about 10m! The wind is brutal.

Another two Scotland changes. Scott Cummings is off for Ben Toolis in the second-row, while Chris Harris replaces Huw Jones at outside centre.

The 6-2 split in favour of forwards for England on the bench makes perfect sense now.

Superb stuff by Stuart Hogg as he turns Jonathan Joseph inside out when running from deep before hammering a kick up to the England 22.

England remain solid at the line-out but Willi Heinz kicks the ball out on the full. It's a great leave by Scotland winger Blair Kinghorn.

Solid defence from England.

Scotland have to come up with something a little bit different.

It's so predictable around the fringes with one-out runners.

Fraser Brown is off for Scotland and Stuart McInally replaces him at hooker. For England, Courtney Lawes gallops on for Lewis Ludlam in the back-row.

Turnover. Owen Farrell smashes Jonny Gray, a great hit, then Kyle Sinckler strips the ball and it's hoofed clear.

England were a tad lucky there, Sinckler was lying on the ground when he played that.

Scotland managed to gather that line-out and they're deep into England's 22. It's slow ball, though.

The errors continue as Scotland fumble at the kick-off and England do well to get it through the hands of Kyle Sinckler and Jonathan Joseph but it's their turn to drop it.

You've got to have sympathy with the players in these conditions. Scotland over-throw a line-out while in a good position, then George Ford throws a wild pass to Jonny May who has to hack it back out!

Mayhem.

He couldn't miss, even in these conditions. Hastings brings Scotland level.
