Amy Cokayne is only 23 years old and she already has 50 caps for England. Could she break Rocky Clark's record of 137 caps one day?

Cokayne leaves the field to a roar from the crowd as Heather Kerr comes on at hooker, then a healthy rendition of Swing Low, Sweet Chariot begins.

In the build-up to that try, we saw acceleration through the gap from Sarah Bern which was quite phenomenal from a front-row forward - these forwards are running like they don't need a back line!

What a way to mark your 50th cap.

England's replacement props are punching holes in the Welsh defence like centres. This time it's Sarah Bern who carries brilliantly to set a platform.

The hosts recycle the ball and hooker Amy Cokayne caps her 50th international appearance with a try.

Poppy Cleall briefly considered passing the ball to Saracens team-mate and fellow joker in camp Hannah Botterman, but decided it would be best to go herself in the end.

Surely you can't pass when the hat-trick's on.

  11. 'Cleall is really enjoying herself'published at 13:17 Greenwich Mean Time 7 March 2020

    England 40-0 Wales

    Catherine Spencer
Former England captain on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Poppy Cleall is really enjoying herself today. It's her type of game, she's running riot in loose play. A lovely, lovely run through, really showing some pace.

You have a sense that it's really going to open up now. This was 51-12 last year, but you have a feeling that England might go beyond that.

    Hat-trick!

Poppy Cleall throws the show-and-go of a centre to breakthrough the Welsh line and then there's no stopping her.

She rides the tackle of two Welsh defenders to cross for her third try of the afternoon.

Emily Scarratt makes no mistake from the conversion.

    England 33-0 Wales

    Catherine Spencer
Former England captain on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

The endeavour is there in this Welsh attack but England are just calmly shepherding them. Wales are not making much ground through their runners, and England are not having to put too many bodies into the breakdown. Wales are not asking too many questions of this English defence as yet.

  15. Postpublished at 48 mins

    England 33-0 Wales

    No they cannot.

England's line speed is brilliant and Wales spill the ball forward. That has been their story so far this afternoon. Too many mistakes.

  16. Postpublished at 47 mins

Now then, Wales have an attacking scrum inside the English 22. It's a great platform, now can they make inroads towards the whitewash?

    England 33-0 Wales

    Catherine Spencer
Former England captain on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

That will be a really popular try in the England camp. Harriet Millar-Mills has had an awful time because of injury. Before she got injured she was on absolute fire, so it's great to see her score today. She ran a scorcher of a line to get that try.

That was the England we know. A pleasure to watch.

    What a line!

Wales lose yet another line-out and England are off. Harriet Millar-Mills runs a terrific line to slice through the red line to score the fifth try.

  20. 'England will want a clinical performance'published at 13:04 Greenwich Mean Time 7 March 2020

    England 26-0 Wales

    Catherine Spencer
Former England captain on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

England will want to cut out a few of those errors and penalties. The intensity is good. They'll just want a really clinical performance in this second half, to raise the tempo and to use their superior fitness. We'll see the impact from the English bench as well, which really is stronger than the Welsh bench.
