The zorbs are in use, I repeat the zorbs are in use.

Harlequins call these human hamster wheels apparently. It was a tense race, one ball girl zig-zagged across the pitch while the other fell over pretty early on.

    The zig-zagger won.

  4. 'Inspiration for the younger generation'published at 13:01 Greenwich Mean Time 7 March 2020

    England v Wales (12:05 GMT)

Vickii Cornborough could be a little lucky to have avoided any punishment for a swing of the arm in the first half, but the England prop has been talking about inspiring the younger generation this week.

Vickii Cornborough told BBC Sport: "I received a lovely letter written by a 14-year-old girl called Safia and it’s the first time that anyone’s written me a letter.

"It was nice to know that people outside of our bubble in the women’s elite section are massive supporters and that we are providing that inspiration for the younger generation."

  5. 'Neither team will be really happy'published at 12:57 Greenwich Mean Time 7 March 2020

    HT: England 26-0 Wales

    Catherine Spencer
Former England captain on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

I don't know if either team will be really happy. England have got four tries but there have been penalties creeping in, a few little errors, some unforced, so they're going to want to smooth things over.

Wales on the other hand - they've had a couple of opportunities but they've struggled to clear their lines and when they have had possession they've not really made ground. But that last ten minutes they were starting to come into the game, so there are positives.

  6. 'Really powerful from England'published at 12:55 Greenwich Mean Time 7 March 2020

    HT: England 26-0 Wales

Really powerful from England, a lovely, clean ball out to Poppy Cleall and it was a great drive. Vicky Fleetwood dots the ball down at the base of the maul - they've been working really well at that driving maul, getting lovely body heights and they know exactly where each other is - and where the try line is.

That's reward for Fleetwood, her work rate has been absolutely phemomenal.

There are two zorbs, those sort of blow-up bubble things you run around in, being lined up on the touchline.

Feel like we could be in for quite the half-time show.

  8. Half-time - England 26-0 Walespublished at 12:51 Greenwich Mean Time 7 March 2020

England have been utterly dominant and have already secured the bonus point after the opening 40 minutes.

Wales have made too many errors and the hosts have capitalised.

  9. converted try

    Vicky Fleetwood (con Emily Scarratt)

    That's the bonus point!

England score their fourth try and it's a play straight off the training field as the line-out is thrown to the back and the Red Roses power over with a driving maul.

It's Vicky Fleetwood's try but that was a whole effort from the pack.

    Emily Scarratt kicks the conversion.

It's England's turn to pop the ball into touch deep inside the Welsh half. Get ready for a move straight off the training ground here.

  11. Postpublished at 36 mins

    England 19-0 Wales

Finally Wales manage to go through a few phases as Siwan Lillicrap runs hard in the midfield.

The visitors turn England with a kick behind and it's better by Wales.

  12. Replacementpublished at 12:42 Greenwich Mean Time 7 March 2020

    England 19-0 Wales

An early replacement for Wales at flanker. Bethan Lewis makes way for Robyn Lock.

  13. Postpublished at 32 mins

    England 19-0 Wales

Wales lose another line-out, their fifth of the afternoon, and they are making too many mistakes.

England are being gifted the ball too easily.

  14. 'A lovely individual try'published at 12:39 Greenwich Mean Time 7 March 2020

    England 19-0 Wales

    Catherine Spencer
Former England captain on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

That was a lovely individual try from Katy Daley-McLean. She glides through the middle of two defenders and they don't know what she's going to do with the ball. She punches the air a little bit too early in my opinion! But a nice reward for her hard work as always.

The crowd are on their feet!

The life was starting to go out of this game a bit but Katy Daley-McLean has single-handedly revived it. This is why she is such a legend of the game.

  16. try

Try - England 19-0 Walespublished at 27 mins

    Katy Daley-McLean

    Classy finish.

The England 10 has kept her side ticking but she spots a gap in the defence and decides to pin her ears back.

She glides through and steps the full-back to score England's third try with a classy finish.

    Emily Scarratt misses the conversion.

  17. Postpublished at 26 mins

    England 14-0 Wales

There's just a bit of a lull in the game now as possession changes hands a few times.

Wales throw the line-out too long and England are off. What can they do from here?

  18. 'I'm excited to see what Beckett can do'published at 12:33 Greenwich Mean Time 7 March 2020

    England 14-0 Wales

    Catherine Spencer
Former England captain on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Sarah Beckett's quite a feisty player, I really enjoy watching her play. She's such a great ball-carrier. There's a lot of competition [for the number eight position] and I'm really excited to see what she can do off the base of the scrum.

  19. Postpublished at 22 mins

    England 14-0 Wales

Wales attack through the midfield but it's another dropped pass at the next phase and the visitors are making too many mistakes.

But their defence is getting them out of trouble and they win the ball back with a turnover.

  20. 'Wales putting too much pressure on themselves'published at 12:28 Greenwich Mean Time 7 March 2020

    England 14-0 Wales

    Catherine Spencer
Former England captain on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Not great service from Keira Bevan at nine for Wales. They're putting too much pressure on themselves. They'll be looking at players like Alisha Butchers, who's had quite a strong tournament, to set a platform.
