It was a short but fitting tribute to Alun Wyn Jones. He ran out and was clapped by the whole Scotland team to the fireworks before being quickly followed by his team-mates.

And just at the end of the anthem you could hear him belting out the final notes. In his own style.

  4. Scotland need 'best performance' - Townsendpublished at 14:15 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2020

    Wales v Scotland (14:15 GMT)

Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend is expecting a much sterner test this week, than against Georgia last week.

"They are a quality side, this is the Six Nations and we're playing away from home and we don't have a good record here, this is a step up," he told BBC Sport. "But we took a lot from last week.

"We don't have that many injuries. We've not played many games individually or as a team, but we've got some of the best players available.

"To win today would give everyone a big boost. This is really important for us. We've got to put our best performance in today to win."

Parc y Scarlets will take centre stage for Welsh rugby this afternoon and it is windy here but not wet fortunately!

Record breaker Wales captain Alun Wyn Jones and coach Wayne Pivac were having a stroll around 12:30pm to check out the swirling wind.

The Welsh Rugby Union have decorated the stadium in red with a big dragon behind the post with the simple message 'Diolch' - Welsh for thank you.

That is aimed all the Welsh rugby fans across the world for their continued support.

Shane came in during the Barbarians week and he had a quiet edge about him.

You could see he's a very focussed individual and has started the season really well with Cardiff Blues.

He's got a phenomenal work rate. I speak to Josh Turnball down at the Blues and he says how good he is and how hard he works in training.

He's very similar to Alun Wyn Jones in his approach to the game and hopefully he'll get a decent run out in his first Test today.

  8. Jones' family unable to attend the matchpublished at 14:09 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2020

    Wales v Scotland (14:15 GMT)

Wales captain Alun Wyn Jones says he understands the decision behind his family not being present at his world record cap appearance today.

The Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) asked the Welsh government about a possible exemption for Jones' family to attend but the request was turned down.

"The fact it's at home and we can't have fans, we can't have family, it is what it is," said Jones.

  9. Scotland's woeful record on the roadpublished at 14:07 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2020

    Wales v Scotland (14:15 GMT)

Scotland have won only two of 41 away games excluding Italy in the Six Nations.

As well as beating Wales in 2002, a late penalty from Dan Parks saw them triumph over Ireland in Croke Park in 2010.

However, this year has seen a marked improvement in defence under Steve Tandy and a victory in Llanelli would make it three consecutive wins for Scotland in the tournament for the first time since 1996.

  10. Three teams still eyeing Six Nations titlepublished at 14:04 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2020

    Wales v Scotland (14:15 GMT)

While this match will have no say on who is crowned Six Nations champion for 2020, three teams still have hopes of winning.

The 2020 Six Nations is set for a delayed but dramatic finale after we finish here at Parc y Scarlets.

Ireland have the most straightforward equation. They are the only team with their fate entirely in their own hands.

England and France also have their eye set on the title, but it is a little more complicated.
