This is a big call for James Ryan going for the posts.

Georgia are back in this game. The ball game is very much still on and Ireland need to stretch.

    Ross Byrne

Georgia infringe. I think it might have been the tackled man rolling the ball away from the tackle a little too obviously.

Ross Byrne likes the look of it. A hefty slice of angle and plenty of distance to cover.

    But he makes it.

    Here comes the cavalry.

Cian Healy is on for Finlay Bealham in the front row. Kieran Marmion is on in place of scrum-half Conor Murray at nine.

Georgia whoop and holler like an American Ryder Cup crowd as they earn another scrum penalty. Their front five have come to the set-piece party in a big way today.

    Ireland 20-10 Georgia

A ball against the head for Ireland as the Georgia pack cough up the pill at scrum time. Ross Byrne tightens the thumbscrews with a dead-eyed grubber into the corner.

A nasty little spot for the visitors to get out of here.

    Ireland 20-10 Georgia

Another big defensive effort for Georgia.

A royal rumble of a tackle as Akaki Tabutsadze, Giorgi Kveseladze and Merab Sharikadze team up to smother Chris Farrell and keep the Ireland centre off the deck.

    Scrum Georgia on halfway.

Georgia are working off scraps but they're giving it a real go. It is not flowing as smoothly as they would like but they are worrying Ireland.

    Tedo Abzhandadze

It is a hefty distance. Think five wood rather than seven iron. But Tedo Abzhandadze make it with a bit to spare.

    A lovely bit of slipper.

Georgia's turn to dish out the back slaps and bear hugs.

A huge turnover in midfield by openside flanker Tornike Jalagonia has he limpets over the tackled Chris Farrell and survives the clear-out.

Farrell is hanging onto the ball and the referee has a no-brainer of a penalty to award the visitors' way.

John Ryan gets a slap on the head from Conor Murray as the Ireland front row force a penalty out of their Georgia counterparts.

  12. Byrne replaces Burns at fly-halfpublished at 44 mins

    Ireland 20-7 Ireland

Georgia are getting a bit of go-forward.

Beka Gorgadze pumps the legs as he comes off the back of a driven maul, but Iain Henderson tight to him and prevents the number eight getting to ground.

Turnover. Green put-in to the scrum.

Billy Burns has taken a bit of knock. Ross Byrne is going to get a run at 10 for Ireland,

International rugby is not phasing Billy Burns. He has had a really solid 40 minutes.

Billy is able to make decisions when Ireland are moving forward.

Ireland are chipping away and putting the Georgians under pressure.

Billy Burns hasn't looked to fling things around. He is choosing the right times to crash it up, pull it wider or kick it behind. That has been hugely positive.

Ireland have conceded a try but what a try. Yes the defence was found wanting but it was a classic old-style rugby try.

I think a 13-point difference is about right for the way this game has gone. Credit to Georgia - they are giving it a good go.

    Scatch that.

The referee rules that the ball has gone forward in the pass from Stockdale.

It looks like the ball came out of the Ireland full-back's hands backwards though and it was his forward momentum that dragged it forward though for me.

The fact that the halfway line was there for reference and the ball travelled so far didn't help Ireland.

This video from World Rugby, external might explain more if the above sounds like gobbledy-gook. It's all about relative velocity.
