Stuart McCloskey canters into the corner off a long pass from Jacob Stockdale...

    Hang on....

Georgia with a line-out on the Ireland 22m.

But that is messy. A scramble on the floor. And Ireland mitts get there first.

It was well worked by Ireland. All the time they were sucking Georgian defenders in before they went wide.

It seemed a simple try in the end but all the hard work was done much closer in.

    Hugo Keenan (con Burns)

Feel the quality and the width.

That penalty advantage really oiled the shoulder joints along the Ireland backline. Billy Burns slings a mis-pass out to Jacob Stockdale who bullets another out to Hugo Keenan on the wing.

The Georgia defence, sucked in tight, can't cover that wide, that fast.

And Burns nails a tricky kick for two more.

Ireland are banging on the door. Iain Henderson hauled down just short but the arm was high, Ireland with a penalty advantage...

It is a really difficult call. It is so close.

Where there is any element of doubt, I don't think you can give a try.

    Held up!

Ireland looked like they were over there, James Ryan hitched onto the back of a driving maul.

But number eight Beka Gorgadze has got his hands under it.

That's the referee's call. But they are going to have a look upstairs.

    Yep, confirmed. Scrum five Ireland.

    Ireland 13-7 Georgia

A superb passage of play from Ireland. Here are the credits.

Conor Murray - superb on-the-money box-kick for his chasers

Hugo Keenan - more spring than Zebedee as he gets up to claim the ball

Stuart McCloskey - a dreamy grubber kick that worms its way into touch 5m from the Georgia line.

Huge pressure on the visitors now...

The idea of the cross-field kick was right. The execution not quite so.

When it becomes slightly loose, Georgia are more in the game and clearly that is what they are looking to do.

Georgia take the aerial route, punting across field, but the winger cannot reel it in.

Ireland line-out and a chance to clear their lines...

And now Georgia win a scrum penalty on Conor Murray's put-in, sending the Ireland front row crumpling like a tectonic plate.

A lot of back slaps and bellowing from the visitors to greet that one. And they kick the penalty down into the Ireland 22m...

Definitely a little more swagger in the Georgia step now.

Try-scorer Giorgi Kveseladze tips on a pass as Keith Earls gets up in his grill in defence.

Wing Akaki Tabutsadze cannot claim it cleanly though, the ball dribbling forward off his palms.

I am glad to see Ireland take the points in front of the posts.

You have got to keep the scoreboard ticking over rather than kicking to the corner.

Billy Burns looks so composed and assertive at fly-half.

  14. Penalty - Ireland 13-7 Georgiapublished at 23 mins

Billy Burns reinflates the cushion separating Ireland from the underdogs.

Jacob Stockdale gets his dancing shoes on. But his nudge ahead is a little over-cooked.

Ireland have a penalty shot straight in front though after Georgia get over-eager.

Billy Burns is going to clog it.

We eulogised Jonny May a week ago at Twickenham for his solo try and that was in the same category.

It was a wonderful inside pass breaking the Irish defence but after that his ability to side-step defenders and slide over with sheer determination. Absolutely brilliant.

    Giorgi Kveseladze (con Abzhandadze)

Oh my. Jonny May? Don't be clearing a space for that try of the tournament trophy just yet...

This is a 24-carat beauty from Giorgi Kveseladze. The outside centre takes an inside ball off his full-back near half way, carves through a hole, sells Jacob Stockdale with a flirty little dummy, leaves Billy Burns spinning like a top with a step and then dives over under the posts with three Irishman water-skiing off the back of his shirt, but unable to stop him.

    Lovely.

    Ireland 10-0 Georgia

    Better from Georgia.

First, a pin-point drop-out, high and hanging, allows then to shovel CJ Stander out of touch.

And then Akaki Tabutsadze chips, chases and is just too slow to reach the ball in the in-goal.

  19. Penalty - Ireland 10-0 Georgiapublished at 13 mins

    Billy Burns

Burns shouldn't miss and he doesn't. Over it goes and Ireland are into double digits and are racking up just short of a point a minute so far.

Whether you are playing the All Blacks or Georgia, it shows respect to take a kick at posts.

At 7-0 up it gives you a buffer so I think it is the right choice.
