  1. Jones to the rescuepublished at 34 mins

    Scotland 17-3 Wales

Brilliant work from Wyn Jones. The Wales prop gets his mits on the ball as Gary Graham carried forward, and the Scotland back-row is pinged for holding on.

Terrific stuff, Scotland were motoring. Not an easy man to shift off the ball.

Willis Halaholo is on for his Wales debut. The Cardiff Blues man replaces Halfpenny, who needs a head injury assessment after that collision.

Meanwhile, Finn Russell kicks Scotland up to the 22.

    Scotland 17-3 Wales

The kicks over the top are causing Wales all sorts of bother. Stuart Hogg puts over another one, which Darcy Graham gathers, only to smash into Leigh Halfpenny.

The Wales full-back took him in the air and has been penalised, but it was a split-second decision. Both players need some treatment after it, but thankfully get to their feet.

    Wales are in trouble.

I disagreed with that scrum penalty against Wales but they've got a lot of work to do to get back into this game.

Finn Russell gets out his box of tricks, and delays a pass, but it's intercepted by a red jersey.

Wales race forward after a solid scrum inside their own half, and Owen Watkin grubbers through a kick, which comes off a Scotland player.

A quick lineout, and the Welsh are away but Aaron Wainwright's knock-on ruins their platform. They can't get a foothold at the moment.

A brilliant chance for Wales to respond instantly as Scotland knock on in their own 22.

It's all going Scotland's way just now though, as Wales are pinged at the scrum.

    And another...

The Scotland captain makes this one for himself. A chip over the top, which Leigh Halfpenny dives on but spills, and Hogg picks up to slide over.

Scotland are well in control now. Finn Russell adds the extras.

A delicious grubber from Finn Russell pins Wales back into their own 22.

A solid lineout allows Gareth Davies to box kick them out of trouble, though.

It's great vision by Darcy Graham. He did the same thing against England two years ago. It was a good pickup and a good finish.

That highlights the confidence levels and variety in the Scotland backs. It was a beautiful kick and Darcy Graham read it. Great vision by Ali Price.

    Darcy Graham

    What a try!

That all came from Jonny Gray's marauding break up to just outside the Wales 22.

Scotland recycle, and Ali Price produces a deft chip over the top, which Graham gathers before scampering under the sticks. Lovely stuff.

Finn Russell converts and Scotland hit the front.

    Scotland 3-3 Wales

Wales captain Alun Wyn Jones is bemused after giving away a penalty. Adam Beard had ripped the ball from Scott Cummings, but Jones dived in off his feet.

Scotland kick up to the Welsh 5m line, but lose their lineout and Wales clear. Neither side properly functioning in attack so far!

    Scotland 3-3 Wales

Wales managed a good turnover after another strong carry from Duhan van der Merwe up the left wing.

An exchange of kicks follows, and Scotland now surge into Wales' half after a good break by Chris Harris.

    Scotland 3-3 Wales

The Edinburgh sky is filled with the roars of Scotland forwards after Hamish Watson, Jonny Gray and co hold up Wales centre Nick Tompkins to force the turnover.

It will be Scotland's scrum on halfway. Back-row Blade Thomson has taken a knee to the head and has to go off for an HIA. Gary Graham is on.

The penalty was given at the breakdown and we see that so much now. It came from a break from Van der Merwe who is such a powerful runner for Scotland and so dangerous.

  19. Penalty - Scotland 3-3 Walespublished at 10 mins

    Finn Russell

Finn Russell kicks on advantage, and Scotland will have another penalty in front of the sticks. Bit of a scuffle between Leigh Halfpenny and Duhan van der Merwe.

Not sure I'd be squaring up to the big man...

Anyway, Finn Russell opts to kick for goal, and we're all square.

    Scotland 0-3Wales

Scotland kick into the Welsh corner after Louis Rees-Zammit takes Matt Fagerson in the air.

A bit of inexperience from the Wales wing. Good chance for Scotland to respond.
