They win a penalty on the floor and George Ford immediately tells everyone to calm down. It is getting a bit frantic as time runs out for England to turn this around.

Ford goes for the corner and there is plenty of pressure on replacement hooker Jamie in his first line-out.

England's replacements are breathing fresh life into the attack as Jamie George - who took to the field seconds ago - makes a break.

The hosts come close, but the ball is cleared and they must go again. Six minutes to go.

Maro Itoje charges down Antoine Dupont's kick but Matthieu Jalibert responds immediately to regather the ball.

Dupont kicks high and Jonny May runs it back at the French line but can't get anywhere.
