    Wales 7-13 Fiji

Both teams are struggling with discipline so far, this time it's Fiji who knock the ball on.

Wales counter through Alex Cuthbert and Thomas Young, who both make good line breaks before Fiji are penalised once more.

Biggar again points to the corner and Wales opt for the line-out, can they take advantage this time?

There's no excuse for this from Wales. They're making basic errors and giving away so many unnecessary penalties. They look rudderless and quite frankly poor.

    Wales 7-13 Fiji

Kieran Hardy and Louis Rees-Zammit aren't on the same wavelength there.

The scrum-half collects the ball from the back of a Welsh scrum and looks to set Rees-Zammit free but instead throws the ball straight into touch.

A chance for Fiji here just outside the Wales 22.

Samuel Matavesi is having a brilliant first half, the Fiji hooker has just won his third turnover of the match and in doing so stops Wales' momentum.

Wales go for another driving maul and Fiji are again penalised.

Dan Biggar is the latest Wales play to be on the receiving end of the latest painful tackle, this one inflicted by Vilimoni Botitu.

Wales kick to the corner again from the penalty.

That's a red card without doubt in my opinion. The officials took their time but came to the right conclusion in the end. It was dirty play and just so needless - completely unnecessary.

Eroni Sau is shown a red card and I don't think he can have many complaints.

His initial tackle on Johnny Williams is excellent, but the flailing arm in the follow up strikes Williams firmly in the face.

Wales will have a man advantage for the remaining 65 minutes.

Johnny Williams is tackled right on the touchline by Fijian wing Eroni Sau, and in the follow up he makes forceful contact to the Wales centre's head.

Fiji are back on the attack after Dan Biggar's clearing kick went out on the full.

Thomas Young is then penalised, another penalty against Wales at the breakdown, and Ben Volavola slots home the simple penalty.

Fiji are stretching Wales' defensive line and are playing this game at 100 miles per hour. It's unstructured, it's frenetic and Fiji are thriving at the moment.

The Fiji wing flattened the Wales captain in the tackle.

It has been a breathless opening quarter.

Wales will have to try and make this a more structured affair but Fiji are also proving a nuisance at the contact area despite Wales having three specialist sevens in the back row.

Liam Williams is holding his shoulder and looks in a fair amount of discomfort.

No sign of the full-back coming off just yet however.

Fiji win another penalty at the breakdown, Samuel Matavesi winning the ball.

Matavesi, a hooker, then opts for a chip and chase down the wing, not many front rows in international rugby who would even consider that.

I'm happy for Ryan Elias because he was criticised for his line-out throwing a fortnight ago against New Zealand. He responded well last week against South Africa and now today he's got himself a try.

Welcome back to Test rugby Alex Cuthbert.

Wales steal a line-out deep in Fiji territory and the ball comes wide to Cuthbert on his return.

But Fiji try-scorer Waisea Nayacalevu is on hand to apply another crunching tackle that can be heard from the stands.

We expected Wales to have the upper hand at set-piece and the try came quite easily in the end. The driving maul was powerful, they got up a head of steam and Fiji couldn't cope.

Converted Try - Wales 7-10 Fijipublished at 10 mins

    Ryan Elias, con Dan Biggar

    Just what the doctor ordered.

Wales are clearly the dominant force in the driving maul, and after Fiji are penalised for collapsing one, Dan Biggar kicks for to the corner to set up another.

And the gamble pays off, Fiji's defence falling apart and Ryan Elias falls over the line to get Wales on the board.

Biggar slots over the extras and Wales are back within three.
