It's a fiery start to the second half from Wales. They've come out at 100 miles per hour and will want to keep this tempo up.

Maybe Australia will tire as the game wears on.

Australia have an attacking mindset and will run from almost everywhere.

Wales though have a man advantage and are ahead on the scoreboard so just need to keep accumulating points and keep that lead.

If Wales can get three points here and there early in the second half they can then open up a bit later on in the game and get their danger men like Louis Rees-Zammit and Josh Adams involved more.

I think you could describe that half as eventful, putting it mildly.

Tries, red and yellow cards, a few scraps.

Wales have not really got going in attack, save for Ryan Elias' try, and yet the find themselves ahead and, yet again, a man up.

Australia's discipline has been atrocious. They'd be leading comfortably if they could keep their discipline.

  8. Half-time - Wales 16-13 Australiapublished at 18:25 Greenwich Mean Time 20 November 2021

What an eventful half we've had here at the Principality.

Australia drew first blood with an Andrew Kellaway try before their number eight Rob Valetini saw red for a high tackle on Adam Beard.

Wales hit back with a Ryan Elias try, while both fly-halves have kept the scoreboard ticking over with penalties.

Time to take break, we'll be back shortly for the second half.

Wales need to get Willis Halaholo involved more because he's such a clever player.

He's strong and powerful but is fleet-footed too and will cause Australia problems.

He's great in attack but is solid in defence too.

We've had a nasty collision in the air between Josh Adams and Andrew Kellaway.
