Wales have got to do exactly the same in this half - contain the French front five, a good kicking game and play in the French half.

We have a game on here. We will see how good this French side really is.

Matt Carley is a good referee but he can be very strict on that whistle.

You have seen France talk a lot to the referee tonight - they look a bit uncomfortable.

Dan Biggar has been much quieter, choosing his moments.

The lack of experience we talked about is key in this game.

In the first 20 minutes France were really into their game and they scored their try from Wales missing a kick.

But then Wales were very accurate in the kicking game and also very smart in the cover, so France do not know where to cover.

Wales will be happy with just a point separating them. France started really well, but Wales found a way back in.

Yes, they missed some opportunities, but there's still not much separating them.

It got quite chaotic at times. France sometimes tried to force it. They play very flat and that gives you an opportunity to create errors in their handling.

I think France will be happy to get to half-time.

    Gareth Griffiths

France started superbly as they developed a 10-3 lead and you wondered whether Wales would drop off.

But in the second quarter the hosts managed to put some phases together and Dan Biggar's kicking has been outstanding.

    An intriguing second half awaits.

    Sam Warburton
Former Wales captain on BBC One

France are ahead because they really took their chance, but Wales tactically have been excellent.

Wales don't want to play into this blitz defence so they are kicking instead and it's working really well.

They are getting a lot of field position from it.

Melvyn Jaminet tries his luck with a long-range drop-goal which goes nowhere near the posts and that's the end of the first half.

As fleetingly brilliant as France have been, Wales are right in this game.

Taulupe Faletau, reliable as ever, gathers the restart.

He's the kind of guy who'd help you tidy and clean your house after a particularly rowdy party.

Easy indeed. Wales' captain adds to his haul. Only one point in it now.

    Jonathan Davies
Former Wales international on BBC One

This is brilliant awareness by Dan Biggar and brilliant execution.

The left winger closes him down so he knows there's a gap on the left wing.

Now they have to turn the screw.

  19. Postpublished at 38 mins

    Wales 6-10 France

A decent set of attacking phases from Wales has them inching closer to the French try line, with Gareth Thomas making one particularly powerful carry.

The home crowd roars them on, and Wales have a penalty as French tacklers are penalised for not rolling away.

This will be an easy three points for Dan Biggar.
