    Thank you for joining us for England's opener, what a cracking start to the Rugby World Cup! England were tested in the first half by Fiji but they weathered the storm to claim a record win to top the pool table.

    But before I get my coffee just a reminder that after both Pool C matches England are on top of the table on points difference. The Red Roses defeated Fiji and France were victorious over South Africa.

    England head coach Simon Middleton said; "I am really happy. We spoke at half-time about one or two changes we had to make. The first half Fiji were absolutely outstanding, they are going to have a great tournament.

    "They really rattled us in the first half, we looked nervous and we were."

    And when asked how a team can beat his side he said: "I'm not going to answer that question!"

    England needed this test to set them up for playing France. It was a physical game and they had to work out a physical Fiji team.

    Their ball speed, the width in their game and decision-making were top class in the second half.

    England captain Sarah Hunter told ITV: "Congratulations to Fiji, that first half they came to play. They rattled us... 14-24 at half-time was a real test for us.

    "We were more composed in the second half and went back to being England. The half-time talk was quite controlled actually."

    Well England take a ruthless first win in the World Cup but it was far from perfect with Fiji a thorn in their side for the first 40.

    For context, England only conceded four tries throughout all of the Six Nations and they've been scored against twice today.

    Fiji were forced to play out of their own in-goal area and England's driving maul is again in action - winning an advantage.

    The maul eventually comes down and a crossfield kick comes to Claudia MacDonald who scores her hat-trick! Unbelievable to think she was told she may have had to retire from the sport less than a year ago!
