    England v South Africa (5.45am BST)

    The team news is here and it sees Simon Middleton ring in the changes for England. There are 13 changes to the starting XI who defeated France last weekend but it is one of the retained players who has stolen headlines this week.

    Marlie Packer will play at seven but she will also captain the side for the first time. There were also two late changes to the matchday squad with Emily Scarratt and Vickii Cornborough out due to minor injuries. Shaunagh Brown comes into the front row and Maud Muir and Ellie Kildunne are n the bench.

    England starting XV: Sarah McKenna; Abby Dow, Holly Aitchison, Tatyana Heard, Jess Breach; Zoe Harrison, Lucy Packer; Hannah Botterman, Connie Powell, Shaunagh Brown, Rosie Galligan, Cath O’Donnell, Morwenna Talling, Marlie Packer (captain), Poppy Cleall.

    Replacements: Amy Cokayne, Maud Muir, Sarah Bern, Zoe Aldcroft, Sadia Kabeya, Leanne Infante, Ellie Kildunne, Helena Rowland.

    South Africa have made seven changes to the side who lost to Fiji. Zenay Jordaan, who announced she will retire after the tournament, starts at 10, Eloise Webb is in at full-back and they too have a new centre partnership with Simamkele Namba and Chumisa Qawe. Lusanda Dumke and Lerato Makua come in as flankers with Roseline Botes at hooker and Catha Jacobs in the second row.

    England v South Africa (5.45am BST)

    Welcome back to our coverage of the Rugby World Cup! This morning we have England's final pool match against South Africa. The Red Roses have already bagged their quarter-final spot but South Africa are yet to win a match.

    If the Boks inflict a win over England today they could qualify for the knock-out stage as two third-placed teams will go through. But all the complicated qualification maths can come into play later this morning when we work out who will play who in the quarters!
