Thank you so much for joining me for this European clash!

It was a thriller and in the end Leicester were just beaten by the better side.

If you want to re-live any of the action or catch up on what has just happened have a read of Mantej Mann's report from Welford Road here.

The European rugby action isn't over just yet, oh no!

The last quarter-final will be played on Sunday with Racing 92 hosting Sale Sharks. All the drama from that one, which kicks off at 3pm, will be live on BBC 5 Live Sports Extra or you can read the action on the BBC Sport website.

Sale are the last English club in the Champions Cup while if Racing win there will be three French sides in the mix.

    FT: Leicester Tigers 14-23 Leinster

Leicester Tigers head coach Steve Borthwick told BT Sport: "We conceded too many points, we didn't take the opportunities we had. Saying all that I think the players need credit for how far they have come and how they played in the second half.

"We will definitely learn from this. This is the first time playing like a team like Leinster [for some of the players]."

I've just about caught my breath back from that match! But as mentioned, Leinster have taken a dominant victory over Leicester to progress to the semi-finals.

They will face defending champions Toulouse, who had their own thriller to contend with earlier today as they faced Munster at the Aviva Stadium. It was one for the ages. Munster had a ten point lead with 13 minutes of normal time to go but they let it slip with the French club coming back to level the scores 24-24 before 80 minutes were up.

The sides couldn't be separated after extra-time and so there was a shoot-out. Toulouse's flawless kicking sent them through as they won the shoot-out 4-2.

Elsewhere, La Rochelle edged Montpellier 31-19 in a close encounter. What a Saturday of rugby we have been treated too!

It was a hugely dominant performance from Leinster, particularly in the first half. It was the first time Leicester had been nilled at half-time in three years and Leinster hardly let them get a toe into the match.

They managed to make it a foot in the second half but no more than that and it's Leinster who will host Toulouse at the Aviva. What a match that will be, especially after Toulouse's shoot-out win over Munster earlier today.

Leicester came out at the start of the second half and 20 minutes of pressure in Leinster territory. Had they scored then it could have developed into a very different game.

Toulouse against Leinster though is a mouth-watering match to look forward to.

Player of the Match Jamison Gibson Park told BT Sport: "We got the job done in the end which is the main thing. Plenty of things to work on for next week. We have had two weeks to prepare as a squad which has been good.

"I wouldn't say free rein [to express myself], I have Stuart Lancaster on my back a little bit.

"They [Toulouse] are an unbelievable team, they went to Ireland and beat Munster today. We will take it a day at a time."

Leicester were closing in on 10 handling errors and that proved the difference in attack. Their first half defence also needed work and they will be pleased they halted Leinster from scoring a try in the second half.

A valuable learning moment for the hosts.

Leinster win in a thoroughly dominant performance and they will face defending champions Toulouse in the semi-final.

Leicester just came to the party way too late this afternoon. They won the second half 14-3 but the 20-0 put in the first 40 by Leinster did its damage.

The game is restarted with Healy off with injury and so Porter is back on. He is immediately into a scrum but Leicester come away with it following a huge shift from the hosts.

Leicester kick to the corner with just a few minutes to go. Leinster do incredibly well to stop the march from the driving maul for a while but then they are on their way.

A huge effort from Leicester sees them go from one edge of the pitch to the other but it ends again in a Leinster penalty.

Before we see out the game there are more changes. Ryan is off for Leinster and Genge is off for Leicester - the hosts' skipper looks devastated.

Gibson Park has been named Player of the Match as we have a slight break in play for hydration.

O'Brien is off for a HIA and is replaced by another O'Brien.

Henshaw knocks on and it's a Leicester scrum with Nic Dolly coming on for Montoya. But the chance to get more points on the board ends in Genge gifting a scrum penalty away.

The visitors are winding down the clock now, it seems it will be them to face Toulouse in the semi-final.

Thirteen years ago, Cardiff lost a Heineken Cup semi-final to Leicester on a place-kicking competition.

Fair to say, they are keen to share the pain after Munster's elimination in similar circumstances against Toulouse today.

Ruddock comes on for Conan and McGrath is on for Gibson Park ahead of the latest scrum, Leinster's put in. It pops out and possession is exchanged once again.

A slight pause in play as players get hydrated so let's take a reminder on what happened earlier today.

And it's another penalty for Leicester, this time they opt for the scrum and they are about five metres out. They need to score soon to be in a shout of winning this one.

But the call at penalty time is incorrect by Leicester as Leinster get the scrum penalty! What a moment. This game could be Leinster's now.

Ashton is off for Burns as Lowe looks to clear the lines. He moved slightly and so Leicester pounced, they win the ball! What an error form Lowe!

Leinster eventually get the ball away but Wigglesworth goes offside and so the visitors point to the posts. Sexton has gone off, it looked as though he was bleeding, and so McCarthy steps up.

Potter's bacon is saved by Liebenberg as his kick is charged down with Conan hunting it. Liebenberg managed to get back and cover it. A heart in your mouth moment.

A Leinster scrum right by their line here, another score from the visitors will surely see the end of the hosts' hopes of coming back. So many resets at the scrum with warnings coming in, Ellis Genge getting frustrated.

Another handling error from Potter sees another opportunity disappear into thin air. That means there is another Leinster scrum but before that gets underway Dan Cole is off as Joe Heyes comes on with Richard Wigglesworth on for Ben Youngs.

The visitors come away with it and get it through the hands but Doris passes to Ford. The fly-half boots it away but it stops in the goal area, Sexton with the goal-line drop out sees Leicester on their way in attack again.

Ashton kicks away, possession exchanging hands by the second.
