If you missed it earlier, Munster's European dream ended earlier today via a place-kick shoot-out after a 24-24 draw at the end of extra time against Toulouse.

Maro was watching. It was three kickers taking two each from six different spots by the way... Munster lost 4-2.

Sexton gives away a breakdown penalty but Leicester immediately give it back! The hosts took that quickly and maybe should have delayed that to build an opportunity.

Ryan steals the ball at the line-out, an opportunity wasted for Leicester! Now the costly mistake of not going to the posts sets in for the hosts, they would have been just ten points behind but it remains a 14 point gap.

But here Leicester come again! They have come to life now as Ford fizzes the ball away. O'Brian catches brilliantly. The visitors on the hunt for more points now, I can't type fast enough for this action!

Leicester have the advantage as they get the ball through the hands after the scrum.

Ford had a great offload to Steward but eventually Martin drops it. We come back to the advantage, do they go to the corner or the posts? Ford goes to the corner, they want the big points here but it could prove costly.

Leicester have another advantage so this is a chance to take! Nandolo goes over the line but he is held up, what a tackle from Van der Flier and O'Brian.

I said Leicester would have to bring the kitchen sink, but I think they have brought the washing up liquid as well.

That Chris Ashton try was met with a huge roar by the home crowd and they are back in this.

Whatever was said at the interval is clearly working.

Leicester have a lot of time here to get back into this one. We've already had one shoot-out this afternoon, will we see another?

Leinster are looking to restore their lead but Leicester win it back, much to the delight of the supporters at Welford Road! It's a scrum to come as George Martin comes on for Reffell.

That is just what the match needed. Leinster will not be able to coast this one out. They will need to find another gear.

Leicester have brought on Nemani Nadolo in a carrying role and his first two acts were to clear out a pair of rucks.

Leinster have been warmly welcomed onto the field by their supporters, quickly followed by the referee.

His return to the pitch is met with a chorus of boos. The Leicester faithful clearly unhappy with his first half performance.

Huge metres made for Leicester from their first line-out and it ends in a Leicester pen and they send it to the corner.

And they can't throw straight resulting in a Leinster scrum. Of course Leicester will go for the corner now with the huge cushion they need to penetrate but they could have started to chip at the scoreline.

Here we go for the second 40 at Welford Road.

Will the Leinster train continue to chuff forward? Or can Leicester get aboard?

And so what do Leicester need to do to win this? Handling errors need to come down, they have four so far, and they need co-ordinated defence.

It sounds simple but against this aggressive Leinster side it will be a mountain to climb.

Well it's been Leinster, Leinster, Leinster! There was a flurry of Leicester attack at the end of the half but Keenan managed to see it out of play in the red.

It's the first time in three years Leicester have been nilled at half-time! Josh van der Flier and Robbie Henshaw have got over the line with Johnny Sexton having a perfect kicking afternoon.

Can Leicester find a way back into this one? It isn't as close as some may have judged it before kick-off!

Ah here's a place we've been before in this match, Leinster attacking and making huge metres in Leicester's half.

Moroni, who's been cracking for Leicester, does enough to disrupt the attack as he smothers Gibson Park and they overturn! Ford wallops it and Leinster have to build from deep.

Sexton brings his boot into the game, Steward collects and then he holds on! Leinster penalty. It's one way traffic.

Ah no, Leicester will have to wait a while longer as James Ryan steals it and Leinster clears.

Gibson Park makes a break and he kicks, Moroni chases but the ball bounces dead.

Leicester were on the attack but there's a handling error. Breathless so far this quarter-final!

This all looks promising as the ball threads through the hands but Potter drops it. It's the first time they have looked threatening but we come back to an earlier penalty, Ford kicks to corner.

First points for the hosts to come?

Jimmy O'Brian is off like a rocket but Matías Moroni makes a monumental try-saving tackle and wins a penalty.

Ford hoofs the ball upfield and they look for their first points but they are immediately shifted into touch. Not the best quarter Leicester have ever played...
