An absorbing first half ended with just two penalties each on the scoreboard but that doesn't begin to tell the tale of an absorbing 40 minutes.

I've been really impressed with the Saints scrum. They have not only been holding their own, they've been putting the Leicester scrum under pressure.

But they have to take their opportunities because you won't get many of them because against a quality side you're going to have a period without the ball.

That was an ultra-competitive and fiercely fought half of rugby - no quarter given or asked.

In other words, exactly what you would expect from a Premiership semi-final between rivals.
