It's gone a bit calmer. It's like the sides are thinking about it now rather than throwing the kitchen sink at everything.

Tigers are giving the Saints defence a thorough examination.

Jasper Wiese crashes through tacklers before being brought down but the ball is knocked-on after being recycled wide.

It's very tight and very entertaining fare and we have three minutes to go before half-time.

Another Saints penalty allows George Ford to kick for the corner.

Tigers looking to build on their lead now.

Saints defend the scrum but there will be another Tigers penalty and this time George Ford sends it through the sticks.

Bad news for Saints here - Dan Biggar has pulled-up and is in need of treatment.

If he has to depart that's a big blow for the visitors.

Tigers lead for the first time as we approach the break.

George Ford's kick behind the defence sees Tommy Freeman gather but he is tackled in-goal, meaning Tigers have an five metre attacking scrum.

There was a little bit of afters between Freeman and Matias Moroni afterwards too prompting another little lecture from the referee.

It's another Saints break and Rory Hutchinson flings a long pass wide to Courtnall Skosan - but the winger drops it again!

It wasn't an easy one to take but he should still gather - Skosan is a top-quality player but he's had a disappointing start to this game that's for sure.

Northampton have certainly come out more fiery. I think the injury threw Leicester at the start.

That can help them settle them into the game because they're back to parity.

However, a really wayward pass goes out into touch to give Leicester a five-metre scrum.
