Some powerful carries from the Welsh second row and back row to start the game.

It's very direct but as we've seen it's very effective at gaining yards and cutting down on handling errors.

And just like that the penalty is won and it gives Keira Bevan the opportunity to open the scoring.

She does it faultlessly from the tee despite an ill-timed horn from the crowd to try and distract her.

Italy's defence has been their real strength this tournament.

The likes of Sillari, Duca and Tounesi are among the most efficient tacklers in the Six Nations.

Wales will have to come up with something smart to get through this defence.

Wales need to be more clinical and take their opportunities. Wales will be looking to be more clinical to be able to get on the front foot today.

Italy have a dangerous back three, they like to move the ball and if you make mistakes they will really capitalise on it.

Mercifully, the temperature has dropped to a cool 20 degrees here today.

It had been raining this morning, which made me think the conditions would favour Wales like they did in Grenoble last week.

But the sun has shot through the cloud and it's very humid.

The press are all in t-shirts, the locals in coats and hats!

Wales head coach Ioan Cunningham said: "We want to take a couple of strides forward from last year, when we had two wins and 11 points.

"This year we want three wins and potentially 15 points.

"I think that shows progress for us, it's in our hands to make sure we can control what we can control this week and put on the field the stuff we do in practice.

"Italy are a tough challenge for sure, they are a very good team. They have beaten us on the last two occasions, in Cardiff last year.

"They have got loads of threats across the park, especially in their back line.

"The more ball you give them the more dangerous they are, and at home the emotion and support will be there."

What a game we had at Twickenham where England held on to clinch the Grand Slam in front of world record crowd.

Roared on by 58,498 spectators, England raced into a 33-0 lead by half-time.

But France mounted a remarkable comeback after the break with five tries of their own before simply running out of time.

England held out for a 38-33 win to claim a sixth title in a row in Simon Middleton's last game as head coach.

Wales only require a single point against Italy to guarantee third again this year, as Scotland did them a favour by beating Italy last weekend to end their 12-match losing streak.

Wales travelled straight to Parma after defeat in France, and have been preparing for their final Test in the Italian sunshine.

Hooker Kelsey Jones says it has been great spending time together and they intend to "finish on a high".

"Our mindset towards this game isn't going to change," she said.

"We want to put on a performance and get as many points as we can.

"It definitely helps that we've only got one point to get, but ultimately why not go for it all?"
