The pleasing thing for Edinburgh is that it's only 3-0.

They have not played well at all, but they could easily go the length of the field and score a try.

Edinburgh's visit into Leicester territory doesn't last long.

Emiliano Boffelli makes a right hash of a pinpoint Jack van Poortvliet box-kick, but thankfully for Edinburgh, captain Jamie Ritchie gets over the ball to win a vital penalty at the breakdown.

It releases the pressure somewhat and takes the visitors downfield.

Richard Wigglesworth has also been giving his thoughts to BT Sport:

"We're in pretty good shape," he said. "We've got a good team out tonight. It's not quite the weather for it, it should be a ding-dong contest.

"The team's selected on form. [The forward battle] will be even more crucial in this weather. This is an international team coming to Welford Road and we're relishing the challenge."

Edinburgh head coach Mike Blair, who steps down at the end of this season, has been talking to BT Sport ahead of kick-off:

"[The build-up] been good," he said. "Steve [Diamond's] role is to oversee things, and he's added a bit of grunt to things.

"The way the season works for us, there's a lot of change week-to-week, with guys going away. We like the challenge of rotating and giving guys opportunities, but it hasn't worked out results wise.

"This is a team today that we believes can put a lot of pressure on Leicester. There's real motivation there to do well in the game today."
