Ireland met the haka by forming the number eight in memory of former player and coach Anthony Foley, who passed away in 2016 just before Ireland secured their first-ever win over the All Blacks in Chicago.

They did this in memory of the late former Munster head coach Anthony Foley in Chicago in 2016.
Foley passed away in Paris the month before that famous encounter.
