This is more like it from Ireland! They are just showing when they do hold on to the ball they can cause this New Zealand defence problems.

It's showing why Bundee Aki has been one of the players of the competition, certainly in a green jersey this year. He has three player of the match awards in this competition and if Ireland want to be successful they need their big players to step up and he is one of them.

New Zealand pull off the 50/22 and the All Blacks are in a very promising position, five metres out.

Ardie Savea is the next to collect a chip through and New Zealand are into the 22.

Dan Sheehan then produces a huge tackle on Will Jordan and Ireland win the penalty in their 22! Try-saving stuff!

New Zealand come again and are inside the Irish half.

This hasn't been the best contest ever but it is so, so absorbing.

The stadium has just woken up, every Irish fan in the stadium is on their feet. Brilliant from Bunde Aki, who has been Ireland's best player time and time again in this tournament, he does so well to finish that try.

Bundee Aki is having the tournament of his life. This has been a tough half for Ireland but they are back in this, and so are the crowd.

Ireland are playing on here with the advantage and are marching towards the All Blacks' line!

Bundee Aki barrels into the 22 and Ireland have another advantage.

This has been unusually scrappy for two sides of his calibre.

Ireland need to re-gather themselves, get set up and just take a breath. They knew New Zealand were going to come at them early doors. They knew there was going to be a moment where things weren't going to go their way.

Can they deal with adversity? If you want to win a World Cup quarter-final for the first time ever, you're going to have to pull something special out of the bag.

But New Zealand steal the line-out.

It's just not going Ireland's way a the minute.

Ireland win another penalty as Johnny Sexton is taken out off the ball, and New Zealand then infringe on the ruck.
