There were 33 passes from Antoine Dupont in the first half. The next best from a France player was eight.
Spare a thought for the ITV editor who has to get analysis in of six tries and a possible red card in about five minutes during the break. Sterling work all round.

The players have been absolutely going for it, South Africa have a game plan to bang it in the air and pick up the scraps and go and score.
Personally I think Eben Etzebeth dropped to make the challenge, he made the best efforts to make the tackle.

France carried the ball over the gainline 42 times, more than once a minute. South Africa have made 80 tackles. EIGHTY!
The holders ran the ball 258 metres, or 80% of the Eiffel Tower if you prefer. Just a brilliant 40 minutes.

I have no finger nails left, but what a cracking game. This is what we were hoping for. Cyril Baille scoring two tries! This is an opportunity to see the best in the world playing at their peak.

South Africa lock Eben Etzebeth's head hit Uini Atonio and he's shown a yellow card. It could well be red, too. A tense few minutes ahead.

This could be significant - the officials are reviewing a head on head tackle. And we know what that normally means.

Even in the quiet there's stardust, South Africa punt the ball away and France wing Louis Bielle-Biarrey somehow gathers the ball from out of play in midair and land infield before kicking downfield. Superb play.

It had to come, and we've got a bit of a breather. France have a scrum in a dangerous area still but it's not quite at 100mph for the first time since kick-off.
