It was a fantastic pass from Jordie Barrett to get to the width and I do think the pass from Mark Tele'a is okay.

The momentum has gone with the ball, but it is not a gifted forward pass.

What a brilliant 10 minutes or so from the All Blacks.

They made the most of that sin bin and scored two really good tries - one of which was called back. They're facing up to the test brilliantly.

No one can put Mark Tele'a down. Every time he gets the ball. He always beats one or two defenders.

    It's bold, it's brave, it's brilliant, it's Beauden Barrett!

New Zealand have men over, they spray it left to Mark Tele'a, as he's tackled he offloads and full-back Beauden Barrett scoops it up to score!

    Was that forwards?! No.

Richie Mo'unga can't kick the conversion though!

New Zealand kick another penalty into the corner. Right into the corner this time.

    They sniff a try.

Of course momentum helps by kicking into the corner. But I can't help but think take the three points and then six as they turned down an earlier one.

    Small, small margins.

    Heartbreak for NZ.

The call goes back to a knock-on at the line-out, New Zealand do not have a try but they do at least have a penalty.

That was a brilliant score as well.

    All Black GOLD!

It's genius from Richie Mo'unga to dive through a gap and beat two men, he then feeds it inside to Aaron Smith who gallops in.

On such moments and decisions can World Cup finals be won and lost. It was gutsy.

You have to take the big opportunities, New Zealand have to be clinical and finish it.

South Africa will think they have got away with one.

New Zealand win the line-out and are down to within a few metres. A try here would be massive - but no! Will Jordan can't gather a sharp pass and he spills it.

Hindsight will say they should have took the three points...

  16. Kolisi able to returnpublished at 21:21 British Summer Time 28 October 2023

Siya Kolisi will not be shown a red card. He'll be back on in a few minutes.

  17. Penalty to New Zealandpublished at 51 mins

    New Zealand 6-12 South Africa

We've not seen much from try machine Will Jordan yet but here he is, super hands on the wing to flick it first time to Codie Taylor. New Zealand put together some nice rugby and they win a penalty, they don't go for three and put the kick in the corner...

That's three yellow cards and a red, and no try so far. Can anyone get over the line?
