USA haven't had their kicking boots on today, the box kicking of Keira Bevan and the reliable boot of Robyn Wilkins have ensured Wales have dominance in the kicking battle today.

    Clever play from Wales.

Robyn Wilkins sends the ball down field and then dominant counter-rucking and pressure on the USA kicker gets them a foothold inside America's 22 yard line.

Wales need to respect the possession and keep the ball and get a spark back into their attack.

Whether that be the runs of Alex Callendar and Carys Cox from the first half or the footwork of Jasmine Joyce.

At the moment Wales are giving the USA 'easy outs' with these penalties conceded and instead of putting pressure on the USA Wales are inside their own 22.

Georgia Evans trucks up the ball. She's got through so much work today.

She's going to be even more important for Wales next month at the WXV with the loss of Natalia John.

Yeah I think USA really missed her during that crucial ten minutes before half-time when Wales opened a 19-3 lead.

    However USA are building confidence.

Another try and we've really got a game on our hands.

I've been impressed with some of Freda Tafuna's carries and possibly trying to make up for her yellow card.

Defensively it's something for Wales to improve on with their maul defence which fell away a bit, it's going to have to be better against the top sides of the WXV.

    Freda Tafuna

The big flanker hits back for USA.

Catherine Benson edged close to the line before Tafuna powers between two defenders.

    Conversion is missed.

I don't think the ball changed from Alex Callendar's hands. Normally you have time to slip that backwards to the hooker but it was moving so quickly she held on and dived over.

Callendar is such a tenacious player and with her and Alisha Butchers you have those hybrid flankers who can do everything.

    Wales 26-8 USA

Wales change the entire front-row with Kelsey Jones, Abbey Constable and Donna Rose all on.

What a display from Gwenllian Pyrs, Carys Phillips and Sisilia Tuipulotu.

We've really improved the amount of jumpers we have in the lineout and it adds to our threats.

Wales ran that maul in, a very simple driving maul try there.

    Alex Callendar, con Keira Bevan

Wow - what a driving lineout maul. They were almost sprinting over the line!

Flanker Alex Callendar was the one to get the ball down for Wales' fourth try of the match.

Keira Bevan adds a tricky conversion. Good kick.

Sisilia Tuipulotu is doing brilliantly in the scrum against USA's most capped player Catherine Benson.

Tuipulotu is so strong and is driving these scrums forward.

A strange passage of play there, USA not able to clear their lines and Wales not able to put any pressure on.

Both teams seem to still be finding their feet after half-time.
