There's a gulf in performance and standard here.

International rugby is being consistent under the highest pressure, Wales aren't doing that, giving Scotland the ball and Wales have just made mistakes and given them outs at every point.

Warren Gatland needs to give this young team confidence during the break.

  3. Replacements: Walespublished at 17:50 Greenwich Mean Time 3 February

    Wales 0-20 Scotland

Gatland has rung the changes at half-time.

Tomos Williams, Elliot Dee and Keiron Assiratti are all on.

Gareth Davies, Ryan Elias and Leon Brown get hooked.

No surprises there. Gatland could have made more!

This is the third match of this year's Six Nations - and the first last night was a cracker.

Ireland began their title defence in momentous fashion as they claimed their biggest ever away win over 14-man France in Marseille.

It's a difficult one for Warren Gatland, the indiscipline early on, we're not getting over the gainline.

Every time Scotland carry they're getting two or three metres, which is allowing Finn Russell and his midfield the chance to run at Wales' midfield, Russell's having an armchair ride at the moment.

Two or three lineouts have gone awry and they can't get any momentum. Silly penalties are showing the naivety of this Wales team.

Here's a stat that no Welsh fan will want to know.

This is the first time Wales have failed to score in the first-half of a Six Nations game. Ouch!

  9. 'Wales a very, very poor team'published at 17:40 Greenwich Mean Time 3 February

    HT: Wales 0-20 Scotland

    Tom English
BBC Scotland's chief sports writer on Sportsound

Scotland haven't done anything spectacular. Wales are a very, very poor team, Scotland have eased into a 20 nil lead.

Their tries have been very good, they've been very professional. Pierre Schoeman and Zander Fagerson have had big games. Kyle Rowe has been doing well.

There isn't the usual aggressive roar from the crowd. Scotland have done very well to take the crowd out of the game.

Aaron Wainwright has been Wales' go-to man in the lineout, they threw it to him, it feels like eight times.

Scotland are up in Ryan Elias' eyeline and they're putting some good competes up against Wales' ball.

Oh dear. When Wales get the lineout working, centre Nick Tompkins knocks on in midfield and that's the end of a miserable half for Wales.

    It's a dream for Scotland.

That man Tommy Reffell again, up on his feet, sniffed a turnover and straight up over the top for the turnover.

He really is doing everything he can out there.

It's a messy end to this half but Wales have won a couple of penalties here. One last chance for points before the break.

They HAVE to get something. Scotland are cruising.

If you can't win lineouts, you can't win games.

  16. Postpublished at 38 mins

    Wales 0-20 Scotland

Wales won a rare scrum penalty but with an attacking lineout five metres out, guess what? Yes another Welsh lineout fails.

This time the throw looked ok but the ball goes through the hands of Aaron Wainwright.

Nothing much working for Wales right now.

  17. Replacement: Walespublished at 37 mins

    Wales 0-20 Scotland

Well it wasn't a penalty but Costelow has to leave and Ioan Lloyd for his first cap in three years.

As though this Wales team wasn't inexperienced enough already!
