That's an absolute clear head injury assessment for me.

The lad needs to be looked after and assessed properly, not just wave a few fingers in front of his face.

Italy's try scorer Lorenzo Pani is down getting some treatment after a clash of heads with Mason Grady.

He looks groggy. Surely he has to go off.

The TMO is looking for foul play, but it's deemed accidental.

    Welsh scrum.

It's so negative from Wales, kicking the ball, not going through the phases.

We have to try and create those chances more often, we've gone into the Italian 22 and again they haven't come away with points.

For a moment the fans were on their feet as Wales were within five metres of the Italian try line.

Some big carries from Will Rowlands, but he gets isolated and Gareth Thomas is penalised for side entry into the ruck.

I was surprised Will Rowlands didn't start because he's aggressive a big ball carrier and I thought he was one of our best performers against France last week.

Will Rowlands couldn't hide his disappointment after being named on the bench earlier this week.

He gets his chance now as Adam Beard departs, can the big man make an impact?

Italy are also making the changes, a warm applause as Welsh-born Stephen Varney leaves the field.

It's just the story of the game for Wales.

We just can't build any sort of momentum in this game whatsoever.

That is a brilliantly well worked try from the Italians, they know they've got the edge over the Welsh defence.

There's a couple of clever plays, the deception makes the defence make decisions.

Great support play, then Lorenzo Pani, go in go out, bang bang and a great finish.

The boos are ringing out loud and clear as Wales are heading for the wooden spoon.

The comeback just got a lot harder.

What a try from Italy off the lineout.

A great angle by Monty Ioane who finds his full-back Lorenzo Pani who steps Josh Adams to go over for the try.

Paolo Garbisi adds salt to the wounds.

Wales fire the first shot of this second half.

Cameron Winnett, Tomos Williams and Rio Dyer combine well to get into the Italian 22.

The ball is recycled, but a neck-roll penalty is called against Adam Beard.

    The early opportunity is gone.

Very anxious from Wales. Italy always had a huge appetite to attack, now they've got the same appetite defend.

They're kicking more in their own half and not willing to play rugby there and they're a lot more pragmatic.

Wales haven't been able to get any entries into the Italian 22, Wales had two rucks in the French 22 last week and they can't get any territory again.

The half-time duet from Welsh tenors Trystan and Aled Wyn Davies was by far the finest performance the Principality has seen this afternoon.

    That's really rallied the crowd.

Let's hope Mr Gatland is doing the same behind closed doors.

Wales look like they haven't played together before.

I think they're so nervous the experienced players are feeling too much pressure and can't deal with it and just so many mistakes.

The scrum as well looks so weak, Italy have utterly controlled the first half.
