Natalia John has not come out for the second half, she's replaced by Georgia Evans.

Ok, we're back under way here in Cardiff.

Considering the amount of possession and territory Scotland had in the first 20 to 30 minutes, Wales will be glad they've only conceded 10 points, and have only a four point deficit.

Typically the wind seems to have died down a bit now but I think we can use it in the second half and try to play a bit more territory in their 22.

    HT: Wales 6-10 Scotland

It's always a close one between these two sides.

Wales' eight-point victory in Edinburgh last season was the biggest winning margin between these sides since 2016.

Three points split them at the delayed World Cup in 2022 - an 86th-minute Kiera Bevan penalty giving Wales the win in Whangarei, New Zealand.

In the 2022 Six Nations, Wales won by five. Scotland's last win, in 2021, was a seven-point margin. In 2019, it was just two points. In 2018 and 2017, it was just one.

These games are played on a knife's edge and the smallest of margins could swing it in this second half.

It's fascinating that both of these teams currently occupy their highest ever place in the world rankings, Wales sixth and Scotland eighth.

Scotland could move up to seventh with a win and as high as sixth with a victory by more than 15 points - but that has not happened in a long time.

The power and pace from Coreen Grant to step through, she did brilliantly.

I think she's going to give a selection headache to Bryan Easton next week.

She's playing really well for Saracens and she's proving why she needs to be out there.

    France v IrelandImage source, Other

In the day's early kick-off, France started this year's competition with a convincing 38-17 win over Ireland.

Tries from Pauline Bourdon Sansus, Marine Menager, Madoussou Fall, Agathe Sochat and Elissa Riffonneau earned the French victory in Le Mans.

We've spent a lot of time in the 22 and I think coming away with three points and just settling down before half time is the right decision.

  9. Half-timepublished at 17:32 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Wales 6-10 Scotland

And that was the last kick of the half and somehow, Wales are only four points behind.

Scotland will be happy with how they've dominated here, but they won't be happy with the scoreboard.

  10. Penalty: Wales 6-10 Scotlandpublished at 40 mins

    Keira Bevan

Well, it took a big carry by Tuipulotu and Scotland concede a penalty at the breakdown and Bevan adds the three.

But she cut that mighty fine with the shot clock ticking down to the last few seconds.

    Wales 3-10 Scotland

Wales fly-half Lleucu George flings the ball out wide but it's so easy for Scotland to defend.

Wales need to be smarter than that.

  12. Postpublished at 38 mins

    Wales 3-10 Scotland

    Siwan Lillicrap
Former Wales captain on BBC Two

The good thing for Wales is they have managed to get some possession, go through the phases.

The forwards are coming into the game a bit more now, carrying ball.

The Welsh front row are big ball carriers and they're stepping up now with some big carries.

  13. Postpublished at 37 mins

    Wales 3-10 Scotland

Nelson fails to find touch with her kick and Wales are again patiently building their attack.

But at the moment, not getting very far against this stubborn blue wall.

Great smothering tackle by Rhona Lloyd.

Former Wales fly-half on BBC Radio Wales

It'll be a concern for Wales seeing Sisilia Tuipulotu go down a few times but hopefully nothing serious.

She's been crucial for Wales over the past couple of seasons.

  15. Postpublished at 35 mins

    Wales 3-10 Scotland

Bethan Lewis charged from the back of the scrum but Scotland's defence - led by huge fly-half Helen Nelson - was brilliant and held up the Wales number eight.

Nelson is like a fourth back-row for Scotland.

    Huge turnover.

  16. Postpublished at 34 mins

    Wales 3-10 Scotland

Sarah Bonar timed her challenge perfectly to snuff out the lineout drive.

But Wales have a scrum six metres out.

  17. Postpublished at 33 mins

    Wales 3-10 Scotland

Wales have a lineout about eight metres out from the try line - we all know what's going to happen next.

    Can Scotland stop it?

Evie Gallagher did well to get that turnover ball but Caity Mattison was just surrounded, real pressure from Wales.

  19. Postpublished at 32 mins

    Wales 3-10 Scotland

Oh Scotland got the turnover from the lineout but Callender - again! - snagged scrum-half Caity Mattinson and Wales win a penalty.

Callender is single-handedly breathing life into this Wales side.

  20. Callender the 'turnover queen'published at 32 mins

    Wales 3-10 Scotland

    Siwan Lillicrap
Former Wales captain on BBC Two

That's what she's about, in that crucial moment she'll get in there.

She's a turnover queen and look at that celebration that's what it means.

What you see is what you get, she's a nuisance on the field, exactly what you want from your seven and vice captain this year.

She's a motivator and leads from the front and I love that.
