Wales are kicking early and not manipulating the Scottish back three.

They keep kicking it straight down Meryl Smith's throat.

They need to attack a couple of phases, manipulate the back three and kick on the front foot.

It's allowing Scotland to get front foot ball, Wales can't reorganise their defence and Scotland are so good at these long passes, they're exploiting it every time.

Right now the only area Scotland will be unhappy with is the lineout.

They've had six throws and have lost half of them.

That's why they're not making the most of all this territory.

She's made up for the earlier mistake in the first try.

What a chase back and what's really good is she'll get back and contest at the ruck, but unfortunately the ref thought she did it illegally.

It's something we see her do in sevens and she's brought it here today.

Keira Bevan had the chance to give Wales some breathing space then but failed to make touch and invites Scotland to go again.

Well I just mentioned her, but Joyce has just used that pace to deny Scotland a try.

Coreen Grant stepped past Hesketh - again - but Joyce showed great speed and determination to get back and save five points.

Oh I bet Grant thought a second score was coming then!

Jazz Joyce just bumped off a defender... you don't see that often from the diminutive sevens star.

It seems to me Wales are really targeting the breakdown but they're not communicating with the referee enough in terms of asking her when they can and can't put heat on it.

Another penalty for Scotland and Wales are going to have to clean up their act here.

They were among the worst offenders in the Six Nations last year and they're carrying on where they left off.

Nelson more than happy to accept the gift.

I thought it was on to play, it's unfortunate we couldn't get it away.

I think speeding up our own ball is going to be crucial for our opportunities in attack.

First they stopped the lineout drive in its tracks and then Alex Callender stripped the ball in open play which Natalia John pounced upon.
