There has been criticism of players trying to slow the game intentionally, rubbish! You want to win the frame in one visit, but sometimes you've got to play the game. You can see that by the fact they are now making the breaks. The match will have ebbs and flows, that's what we have got.

It's a fabulous standard, a proper final with some serious scoring. From Ding Junhui being 6-0 down, who knew this was going to happen? You feel every emotion that the players are going through. Ding has won the mini-session, which he had to do, and it's now 11-10.

What a response from Ding. Selby made 126, which was the highest break of the final in the previous frame, but the Chinese makes a break of 103 in the next - you can view these videos below.

That is his 14th of the tournament and he needs three more for an individual World Championship record.

Kyren Wilson, who is in line for the £10,000 prize for the highest break, can also breathe easy as Ding missed a red just after reaching the century mark.

Well, it was. But then Ding opts to play for a blue instead. The highest break of the tournament is still within reach though. The highest so far is Kyren Wilson's 143.

You can see by the speed of this frame time that Selby is by no means a slow player. Sometimes the balls dictate how quick you play.

100 - Selby's 126 clearance puts him back in controlpublished at 15:32 British Summer Time 2 May 2016

Mark Selby 11-9 Ding Junhui (126-11, Selby 126)

We've had frames lasting nearly an hour already today. But no such problems in the 20th. Ding was within one frame, now it is back to two.

Class from Mark Selby, showing exactly why he is the world number one. He's lost two in a row and nine of the last 13, but he makes the 84th century of this tournament with his 126 clearance.

That's the highest break of the final, and a pretty good time to do it.

Steve Davis: "You can see emotion creeping in and Ding Junhui has now got fight. The game was a little ragged through luck more than anything else with the balls all over the place, but it is fascinating to watch.

John Parrott: "He's demonstrative is Ding, the last red is absolute fantastic to make the clearance, and that last nervy pink. Mark Selby got out-Selby-ed there. Mark always answers the critics though so I've given up predicting what may happen."

    Mark Selby 10-9 Ding Junhui

This is where Ding clawed back the 19th frame, taking this red, and with a few more snookers, he was well on his way to within one frame of parity.

You rarely see that sort of reaction from Ding Junhui when he wins a frame. A 'yes' and a growl. The man from China has taken the first two frames of the day and may have set up a 'Crucible Classic', which might leave us with a late-night finish.

Mark Selby hasn't settled yet, how much have last night's exertions taken out of him?

Ding has now won nine of the last 13 frames after losing the first six. If Ding wins nine of the next 16 then he is the world champion, and will become the first Asian player to do so.

Selby inadvertently sinks the black early on in the 20th frame, but the Chinese leaves a red hanging over the pocket soon after.

What a steal from Ding. He was 56-22 down, but it is not just Selby who is fighting hard in this final. Ding nicks it on the final black. The frame lasted 50 minutes, and it goes the Chinese's way. These are the sort of frames that make a world champion.

I'm not one to panic people for no reason, but we have been playing today for one hour. And we have had one completed frame. Just saying.

It is 56-22 to Selby in the second by the way, with the Jester from Leicester, unsurprisingly, wrapped up in a tricky snooker.
