    Frame 27: Higgins 9-17 Trump

Before the final Judd Trump had made 76 centuries this season at a rate of one every 8.54 frames.

While John Higgins had managed 28 at a rate of one every 16.79 frames.

That's been pretty much borne out in this Crucible showpiece with Trump outscoring his rival by seven centuries to four at present.

I mean anytime he gets a chance....and he has just got one in the second frame of the session, the frame literally disappears.

When it comes to World Championship finals few players know their way around better than John Higgins.

Only Stephen Hendry and Steve Davis have appeared in more Crucible finals than the 43-year-old.

He's staring down the barrel here though.

It's an astonishing performance. That second session is arguably the most violent and shocking session I have ever seen. i'd have hated to have watched it from John Higgins' perspective.
