    Stephen Hendry
Seven-time world champion on BBC One

I think the adrenaline will kick in for Kyren Wilson today.

The difference is that Kyren has spoken about what it means to him with his family and everything but for Ronnie O'Sullivan has done it five times and for him it is just another snooker match.

  2. Wilson needs to put down a markerpublished at 13:36 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Ken Doherty
1997 world champion on BBC One

A lot of people think Ronnie will roll away with it, Kyren Wilson is playing at the top of his game but he needs to get of to a good start to lay down a marker.

It is not going to be all one way traffic, that is for sure.

    O'Sullivan v Wilson

That was incredible yesterday, I have never seen anything like that.

The last frame in the first semi-final was unbelievable.

  7. 'Don't blame me, blame the miss rule'published at 13:27 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    O'Sullivan v Wilson

Responding to Mark Selby's comments, Ronnie O'Sullivan said: "You want to hit it as hard as you can and hopefully get a fluke otherwise I could give 40 points away.

"Don't blame me, blame the miss rule. If I was as good as Mark Selby at getting out of snookers, I could maybe get the balls safe. I haven't got a clue.

"He is just feeling a little bit sore I suppose, he has just lost a semi-final of the World Championship. I understand that."

    O'Sullivan v Wilson

Mark Selby says Ronnie O'Sullivan was disrespectful in the way he approached some of his shots during their semi-final at the World Snooker Championship, which the Londoner won 17-16.

For those watching on Friday, it felt a bit like O'Sullivan was literally just smashing some of his shots and wasn't bothered about the consequences, which did not go down well with his opponent.

I wonder if Ronnie O'Sullivan has managed to find a cue action overnight Shamoon?

It didn't look to shabby to me in his wins over Mark Williams and Mark Selby but then again, what do I know.

  12. 'All about the cue action'published at 13:17 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

    Shamoon Hafez
    BBC Sport

I am sure you will have caught Ronnie O'Sullivan's post-match interview after his victory over Mark Selby and how it was all about "the cue action".

When he spoke about the same subject with the journalists in the news conference afterwards, there was laughter all round...which didn't go down too well.

The five-time world champion said: "You're laughing, I don't find this funny. I am serious. I followed Steve Davis and he used to have the perfect cue action. I got into bad habits and am now trying to recreate what I had."

  14. O'Sullivan aiming to equal Reardon and Davispublished at 13:15 British Summer Time 15 August 2020

As I mentioned at moment ago Ronnie O'Sullivan is hoping for a sixth world title, which would take him level with Ray Reardon and Steve Davis.

In terms of modern day (and I say that loosely) champions Stephen Hendry is very much, 'top of the list, King of the hill, a number one,' to coin a line from a famous Frank Sinatra track.

Though of course Joe Davis (15), Fred Davis (8) and John Pulman (8) had won a fair few long before my lifetime.

    Good afternoon.

I've got to be honest, I'm chomping at the bit to watch this one. It should be an absolute cracker.

Kyren Wilson is arguably in the best form of his life and Ronnie O'Sullivan delivered when the chips were down to come from behind to beat an in-form Mark Selby.

Both semi-finals were thrillers and I'm sort of expecting more of the same once this one warms up.

Wilson's only Triple Crown event final was at the Masters in 2018 when he lost to Mark Allen, while O'Sullivan has picked up a record 19 Triple Crown titles and is aiming for his sixth World Championship title.
