Our colleagues on BBC Two have been re-living some of the moments of the tournament during this mid-session interval and we thought it would be rude not to follow suit...

Judd will be disappointed to lose that last frame but to win the session 3-1, he'll take that. If he can manage another 3-1 in the next session, it'll be game on this evening.

A fine response from Ronnie O'Sullivan to snatch that crucial frame.

The lads from the Emerald Isle (see 13:51 post) were unanimous in their view that Ronnie O'Sullivan will cement his place as the greatest player if he equals Stephen Hendry's record of seven world titles.

But those in the Hendry camp would point out that no other player, O'Sullivan included, has been able to do what the Scot did in the 1990s.

Hendry became the youngest world champion in 1990 then dominated for an entire decade..

Unlike O'Sullivan, Hendry, was never a crowd favourite, far from it, but you always felt he was at his best on the big stage and he won an unprecedented five Crucible crowns on the spin.

He also spent a record nine years as the world number one, beating Steve Davis' seven-year tally - in comparison O'Sullivan has spent five years at the top of the snooker tree.

It goes without saying, this is a very big visit.

Trump breaks down on 45, attempting a very risky plant to the middle pocket.

He's been very aggressive so far but that was maybe pushing the boat out a bit too much.

Ronnie's struggled this session but he has a few open reds to target now.

Trump has missed a long red in the next frame but Ronnie O'Sullivan quickly runs out of position and breaks down after scoring just seven points.

A wonderful positional pot on the black puts Trump well placed to open up the reds.

Decent chance to establish a lead in this frame.

Graham Down: Would say Judd had a good sleep and chat with his team over the last 15-16 hours. Come out flying this afternoon.

Stuart McDonagh: Judd channelling a bit of Alex Higgins in that break. Never in position, but potting them from everywhere. Class.

A big frame before the mid-session interval coming up.

Trump struggling with his positional play slightly, but he's knocking the balls in from middle distance. Third successive frame almost sealed.

Looks a different player from the one who was bereft of confidence last night.

Judd Trump ran out of position off a red but laid a nasty snooker behind the green.

O'Sullivan misses and, rather than replace the balls, Trump goes for a tough red with the cue ball near the cushion - and he gets it.

Noel: If Ronnie somehow loses this World Championship final I’m not sure we’ll ever see him in another. He’s put everything into this week and dominated. Not sure he could go to the well again if he doesn’t close this out.

Trump looks like he is potting the balls right into the middle of the pockets which is always a good sign.

Judd Trump is in first again in frame 20 with a nice long red into the bottom left corner as he looks.

The cue ball nicely kisses the brown on its way back into baulk - those little nudges were going against Trump yesterday. Has Lady Luck turned a bit?

Ronnie missed that red in the corner and it wasn't because of pressure from Judd, it was the pressure of what this day means. Ronnie still needs to put this match away.

Judd has to make sure he doesn't miss any easy pots. Then it'll be amazing how many frames you can win on a day like this.

Ronnie missed a nervy red. He was up off the shot straight away. Judd Trump will need that type of help from Ronnie O'Sullivan.

There's pride in performance - he does not want this to end a session early. He'll get the snowball effect if he keeps potting the balls.
