Sky Brown has just been in to speak to the media and even brought her skateboard along with her!

As ever she had a huge smile throughout her interviews as she chatted about what's coming up next.

"More surfing, try some new stuff and Paris!" she says.

The talented 13-year-old is clearly not afraid to try her hand at different sports as she is targeting surfing gold as well as skateboarding gold in 2024.

But with the Winters around the corner, what about snowboarding?

"I'm not that good! I need some practice first," she says.

    Maybe 2026, then...

Sam Barlow was nominated by the Fit Mums and Friends group she set up in Hull in 2009 to bring women together to get active.

It has since grown to be all-inclusive, including children and dads, with 11 adult groups and four junior athletics groups across Hull.

After losing her husband, Mike, to cancer last year, Barlow also started a fitness and support group for people experiencing loss which continues to inspire other volunteers and coaches.

    BBC One

England manager Gareth Southgate speaking to BBC One: "An amazing journey. You spend months thinking about what might have been.

"We took a whole country with us for a number of weeks. We had an incredible year and the players did a brilliant job.

"We know we're progressing. They've seen what's possible and got close enough to feel the hunger.

"It's in our hands and we're in the mix but we have to be at your best. The competition is really tight."

On Raheem Sterling: "He'd had a disappointing end for him in terms of the end of the season and we had a highly motivated player.

"He had that sense of destiny being at Wembley so close to where he had been born, that hunger to show people what he can do. He was phenomenal."

    BBC Sport

Chelsea Women were the show stopper when it came to women’s football in 2021, completing a domestic treble and reaching the Champions League Final.

They kicked off their trophy haul by thrashing Bristol City 6-0 to lift the League Cup in March.

They added the WSL title in May, before claiming the delayed FA Cup when they thumped Arsenal 3-0 at Wembley earlier this month.

Their only blip came in May, after they became the first British team to reach the Women’s Champions League Final since 2007.

Conceding four goals in the first 36 minutes, Barcelona blew Chelsea away to deny them their first European title.

Sterling shone as England progressed at Euro 2020 - reaching the final of a major tournament for the first time in 55 years before losing to Italy on penalties.

The Manchester City forward scored three goals at the tournament, including the opener during England's historic win over Germany in the last 16.

Sterling was one of three England players, alongside defenders Harry Maguire and Kyle Walker, to be picked in Uefa's team of the tournament.

He also scored 10 Premier League goals during the 2020-21 season as City won the title for the third time in fourth years.
