"Andy will definitely be very happy to have won the game. He doesn't want to get broken early in the match, he wants to set a tone. I think the key for Andy is to keep the ball very deep, be patient and then wait for the right opportunity to attack."

"Girlfriend Kim Sears, fitness trainer Matt Little and the rest of Team Murray are in position, front and centre, right behind their man as he serves. It's still chilly, no change there, and a slight breeze. Luminous yellow/green plays camouflage blue."

If you've not heard, there have been a couple of surprises at Roland Garros today with women's second seed Li Na and men's 11th seed Grigor Dimitrov departing the tournament earlier than expected.

"Nobody says if you're number two in the world you have to win all the matches," said Li Na after a 7-5 3-6 6-1 defeat by France's Kristina Mladenovic.

"I mean, this is tennis, everyone comes to the court, everyone has a chance to win the match. I think it doesn't matter who plays against me today, I'd always lose the match because I don't think she put a lot of pressure on me. I think today I just gave away the match."
