Andy Murray had to work for it to reach the fourth round, the Scot being stretched to five sets by Germany's Philipp Kohlschreiber in a match that went over two days. The Wimbledon champion has a stunning record in five-set matches, winning 13 of his last 15.

The win also meant he has now made it to the fourth round or better at the last five French Opens and has been present in the second week of 22 of the last 23 Grand Slam he has played.

The conclusion of that match means Andy Murray can get his fourth-round match against Fernando Verdasco under way. The players should be out on court shortly.

I'm told 28th seed Andrea Petkovic gave a sensational press conference following her fourth round victory over Kiki Bertens earlier today.

How did she prepare for the match? Stalk her opponent on YouTube, of course.

"I'm relieved but also happy," said the German. "It was super tough, because I didn't know her at all. I just stalked her on YouTube yesterday the whole day, and I was already impressed."

It's one-way traffic out on Suzanne Lenglen now as Jelena Jankovic adopts the "try to get points quickly" approach following her loss of the first set. It does not go well. The Serb finds herself 3-0 and a double break down against Sara Errani.

How does David Ferrer intend to approach his quarter-final against Rafael Nadal? "I will try to do my best," says the Spanish fifth seed. "I will try to play aggressively with my forehand and try to finish the points on the net. But of course it's going to be difficult with Rafael on a clay court."

This fourth round match between Jelena Jankovic and Sara Errani has had more swings than the banana boat ride at Thorpe Park. Errani looks to have a hold of this tie-break, building a 5-3 lead, but then she starts leaking errors and Jankovic hauls herself back to 5-5. It's anyone's set, this.
