Thanks Lawrence, we have filled one of those Chinese restaurant finger-dipping bowls with ice for you.

Centre Court is still open for business by the looks of it.

A muffled announcement suggested that another match was heading over this way.

The muted response from the crowd, with many heading home for the day, suggests it is not a stellar contest.

Federer signs a few autographs and then nips off court. He'll have some media commitments before he's allowed to go home. But he can have a lie-in, if his two sets of twins allow that is, tomorrow as it's a day off for all.

Great exchange at the net as Giraldo entices Federer in and then sends a lob over the Swiss. Federer gets to it, but swots the return away with a clean volley. It's a rare high point in an otherwise disappointing game from the Colombian who first dumps in the net and then hits long to gift Federer the break. The Swiss now on the brink.

A right old tussle of an opening game in the third set, lasting 15 minutes, ends with Serena bashing away a winner from an open invite of a mid-court bounce.

Both players are getting a little frazzled by the tension of it all, chuntering away to themselves and the line judges.

Giraldo manufactures his best opportunity to break with some big hitting to move to 0-30 and though Federer wins the next point, the Colombian then gets his first break point of the match. The Swiss saves it and the moves to advantage, Giraldo lambasting himself after netting an easy return. And another error of the Colombian's racquet gifts the game to Federer. Opportunity missed.
